Mahindra Thar Roxx With New Mocha Grey Interiors: First Look On Video
Ever since the launch of the Thar Roxx last year in August, people have been complaining to Mahindra that the white interior would be hard to maintain and keep clean. Recently, the company launched this SUV with a Mocha Brown interior, and soon after, it started shipping out those cars. It has now launched and started dispatching the Thar Roxx with a Mocha Grey interior. Recently, a video showing this new interior shade has been shared online.
This video, showing the Mocha Grey interiors of the Mahindra Thar Roxx, has been shared on YouTube by Fuel Injected on their channel. It starts with the vlogger first giving an introduction to the vehicle in front of him. He mentions that today he will be showing the 2025 Mahindra Thar Roxx AX7L 4X2 variant with the newly launched Mocha Grey interior. He mentions that the Thar Roxx starts at ₹12.99 lakh and goes up to ₹23.09 lakh.
Exterior Walkaround
Following the introduction, the vlogger then starts giving a detailed walkaround of the exterior of this SUV. For this, he starts at the front and mentions that the 2025 updated model comes with all the same design and details on the outside. It gets an ADAS camera and sensors, front parking sensors, LED headlights with C-shaped LED DRLs, and a fiber skid plate.
Moving on, he then shows the side profile and states that, being the top-of-the-line variant, it comes with larger 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. He adds that despite the update, the company has not added request sensors on the outside of this model. After the side, the host shows the rear, which also looks the same.
Mocha Grey Interior
After giving a complete, detailed walkaround of the exterior, the vlogger then moves to the interior of this particular Mahindra Thar Roxx. He states that the main highlight of this vehicle is the change in the color of the interior. He states that instead of the white interior, the company has now changed the interior to Mocha Grey.
It continues to be dual-tone, where half of the interior is black and half is grey. He adds that, despite this color still being light in tone, it does not look as dirty just after a few days of use as the white interior. All the seats are finished in Mocha Grey leatherette upholstery, and the lower portion of the dashboard has been painted in the same color.
Apart from these, the headliner is also now Mocha Grey in color. Moving on, the vlogger then shows the dashboard of the vehicle and talks about the new features. He states that the 2025 updated model now comes with Wireless Apple CarPlay. For those who may not be aware, at the time of launch, the company only offered the Thar Roxx with Wireless Android Auto.
He then continues and mentions that, apart from these, the rest of the interior is the same as before. It still gets the same responsive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, a Harman Kardon premium audio system, and a ton of other modern creature comforts.
Powertrain Options
The Mahindra Thar is offered with two engine options with varying levels of tunes that provide varying levels of power. The first is a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which in the base spec makes 152 PS and 330 Nm of torque. Then, in higher variants, it makes 162 PS and 330 Nm of torque. With automatic transmission variants, it makes 177 PS and 380 Nm of torque.
Meanwhile, the other engine option is a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine. In the manual transmission option, it makes 152 PS and 330 Nm of torque. With the automatic transmission and 4X4 option, it makes 175 PS and 370 Nm of torque.
