Mahindra Thar Driver Stops Maruti Brezza Driver Coming In Wrong Lane, And Makes Him Back Off

India’s roads are probably the last place to look for lane discipline. You would agree with this statement if you are a person who drives or has driven on Indian roads. This impatience from many road users often becomes the reason for congestion, arguments, and traffic jams on our roads. Such behavior is very common, and there are times when people react to such behavior and make others back off. Here, we have a video where a Mahindra Thar driver stops a Brezza driver coming from the wrong lane and makes him back off.

The video has been shared by Nikhil Rana on his YouTube channel. The exact location of this incident is not clear, but it looks like somewhere in North India. In this video, we see a Mahindra Thar passing through a narrow two-lane road. There are vehicles coming from the opposite direction. Suddenly, a Maruti Brezza is seen coming from the wrong lane.

The Brezza driver was probably trying to overtake the Traveller in front of the SUV. However, he did not consider the Mahindra Thar coming from the opposite direction. He tried to squeeze his sub-4-meter SUV where there was no gap. The Thar driver continued to move forward and stopped right in front of the Brezza.

The Brezza driver was furious with this act and steered the SUV towards the Thar, blocking the way. The Thar driver was not in a hurry and stayed inside the SUV. The Brezza driver was probably not happy, and we can see him shouting at the Thar driver. The Thar driver had the dashcam on his vehicle and was not ready to move back.

Within minutes, the whole road got blocked, and other drivers got out and asked the Brezza driver to move his car to his lane. The Brezza driver, after a lot of arguments, finally moved to his own lane and made space for vehicles from the opposite lane. Before driving away, the Brezza driver did have a final argument with the Thar driver.

This is not the first time we have come across a situation or video like this online. A few months ago, we saw a Tata Harrier Black Edition driven by a government servant blocked by a Kia Seltos driver for driving on the wrong side. Similarly, a Skoda Kushaq driver made a Fortuner driver who was on the wrong side of the road back off in a similar case.

Worth It?

While we understand that the people who recorded the video were not wrong here, we should consider a few things. By engaging in such arguments, both parties are simply wasting their time. The person who drove on the wrong side of the road will continue to do so even after this incident. Such arguments often escalate too fast and can even lead to physical fights and assaults.

So, it is always a good idea to ignore such reckless and mindless drivers on the road and move your vehicle to the shoulder to make way for these so-called drivers. At times, the ego of the person driving the vehicle is bigger than the vehicle itself, and that becomes a problem too.
