Stupid Mahindra Thar Driver Vs River: Here's The Result [Video]

A lot of people who go to places like Dehradun, Manali, or other tourist spots do things their way. As a result of this, sometimes they end up in situations which almost become fatal at times. Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet in which a Mahindra Thar belonging to a group of tourists was seen getting carried away by a high-speed flowing river. This particular Thar was then recovered with the help of two earthmover machines.
This video, showing the Mahindra Thar getting swept away in a river with two people in it, has been shared on Instagram by Dav Unofficial on their page. As per the post, this particular incident took place in Maldevta, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The caption of this video warned tourists against parking their vehicle close to any river during a picnic.
In the short video, we can note that a red-colored Mahindra Thar three-door hardtop SUV was getting swept away in a fast-flowing river. There was a person in shorts who was standing outside the left door of this SUV. Meanwhile, there was another man who was behind the steering wheel. It can be noted the vehicle was turning around in the river due to the high-speed flow.
Soon after this, what happens is that the Thar gets stopped in the middle of the river by a massive rock. At this point, one of the occupants of this SUV was seen standing on another rock. Meanwhile, the other person was seen with his upper half of the body inside the vehicle while it was stuck. It appears that he was searching for something.
The video then skips over to the part where a crane was seen picking up this particular Mahindra Thar. We can note the SUV was attached to the crane from the front. What makes this rescue even more interesting is that the crane had to be kept in place using an earthmover machine. If this earthmover had not been there, the crane would have also been swept away.
At the moment, there is no report that has mentioned what exactly happened and how this Mahindra Thar ended up in this situation. However, it is believed that the Mahindra Thar and its occupants might have come to the river for a picnic and parked their vehicle very close to the river.
Following this, the flow of the river might have increased a bit, causing the vehicle to be swept away. There could be another possibility that the owner and the passenger of this Mahindra Thar might have been trying to cross the river, and when they could not control it, the SUV started getting swept away by the high-speed flow of the river.
Now what exactly happened is unknown. However, what we do know is that cars should not be anywhere near the flow of such a high-speed flowing river. Water currents are extremely strong, and getting swept away by them is extremely quick, and people who lack experience can only come out alive with a lot of luck.
