Fisherman From India Buys A Mercedes Benz: Internet Happily Stunned [Video]

We have seen several inspiring videos on the internet where people, after years of hard work, finally buy their dream car. In most cases, these individuals come from very humble backgrounds. We have seen farmers enjoying the fruits of their labor. Here, we have one such video where a fisherman from India buys a Mercedes-Benz luxury sedan.
The video has been shared by Tamil Worldstar on their Instagram page. It does not provide details about the person who bought the Mercedes-Benz sedan. The video starts by showing a man standing outside a Mercedes-Benz dealership. The dealership is not located in India but in Malaysia. The man seen here is actually an Indian who relocated to this country years ago. There are a lot of people of Indian origin living in Malaysia, and many of them have been there for generations.
The man standing outside the Mercedes-Benz dealership is actually a fisherman originally from India. We see him checking out the car, and shortly after, we get several clips of him working hard at sea. He has been a fisherman for years. He was probably saving for his dream car for a long time. His attire while working at sea is completely different from what he wears at the dealership.
Later, we see the same man at the Mercedes-Benz dealership, standing next to a Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan. It is not a brand-new sedan, and it appears that the car was purchased from Cycle & Carriage Bintang Berhad, a dealership in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. It is possible that this dealership sells used or certified Mercedes-Benz cars along with new ones.
The car seen in the video is actually a W205 fourth-generation C-Class sedan. This generation was also available for sale in India. It came with both petrol and diesel engine options. The C200 petrol variant had a 2.0-liter petrol engine producing 181 BHP.
The diesel versions were the C 220 CDI and C 250d. Both were powered by a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine but were available in two states of tune. The 220 CDI generated 168 BHP, while the 250d variant produced 204 BHP. AMG versions of the C-Class were also available in India.
However, in this case, the fisherman has likely bought the regular version. The exact details of the variant he chose are unknown. The comments section under the video is filled with congratulatory messages for his achievement. It is not every day that you come across such a video online. The fisherman looked very proud as he stood next to his newly purchased car.
This in not the first time we have seen a video like this on the internet. A few years ago, we came across a video featuring an 88-year-old man from Tamil Nadu who took delivery of his brand-new Mercedes-Benz.
He had been a fan of Mercedes cars since childhood and had always dreamed of owning one. Just like the fisherman, the man worked hard throughout his life and managed to turn his dream into reality at the age of 88.
