Golmaal Singer Avdhoot Gupte Takes Delivery Of MG Cyberster Electric Sportscar

The popular Marathi singer, writer, music director, and actor Avdhoot Gupte has recently bought himself a brand-new MG Cyberster electric sportscar. MG Select dealership, which is the brand's premium outlet, organized a grand delivery for the celebrity and his family. The singer highlighted that this delivery experience was one of the best he has experienced over the years of buying new cars.
This grand delivery video of singer Avdhoot Gupte’s MG Cyberster electric sportscar has been shared on Instagram by MG Select Mumbai. It starts off with a glimpse of the Cyberster hidden underneath a black cover. The dealership had also arranged for two Marathi trumpet players dressed in traditional attire to make this delivery even more special.
Following this, the singer and his family—his wife and two sons—were seen arriving at the MG Select Krishiv showroom located in Worli, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The same trumpet players stood inside the dealership while the singer and his family were at the gate, and they were then welcomed inside. They were given “Tilaks” on their foreheads.
After the entrance, the singer began checking out the posters placed by the dealership to elevate the delivery experience and make it very personalized. The clip then shows the singer getting a “Pheta,” which is a traditional Marathi turban specially worn during weddings and other cultural festivals.
Soon after this, the singer and his wife were given a clapperboard with the singer's name on it, following which the covers were taken off the MG Cyberster, and Gupte then started checking out his brand-new electric sportscar. He was then presented with a bouquet, and he started performing Hindu rituals, after which he cut a cake with his family and then sat in his sportscar with his wife.
In another video, the singer shared his thoughts on the delivery experience. He highlighted that the MG Cyberster is his 20th or 21st car, and so far, he has not seen a better delivery. Gupte thanked the MG Select Krishiv showroom for such a grand and personalized welcome and delivery. He added that a British car made in China and delivered with Indian traditions is truly something unique.
MG Motor India launched the Cyberster electric sportscar back in July of this year with a price tag of Rs 74.99 lakh. It comes equipped with a single battery pack—a 77 kWh unit—paired with a dual-motor setup. It makes 510 bhp and 725 Nm of torque and can do a sprint of 0–100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. Thanks to its dual-motor setup, it gets an AWD system.
On the outside, it gets LED headlamps, sporty side skirts, a unique rear design, and connected LED tail lamps, which are shaped like arrows. It also gets electrically operated scissor doors, a split diffuser, 20-inch alloy wheels, and an overall sleek body design.
As for the interior, it gets a flat-bottom steering wheel with integrated controls, two 7-inch auxiliary displays, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a vertically oriented 7-inch infotainment screen. It also gets dual-zone climate control, an auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charging, ambient lighting with selectable colours, ventilated and powered seats, and an 8-speaker BOSE audio system.
