Brand New Maruti Fronx Crashes Into Trailer Truck Just After Delivery: All 3 Passengers Safe [Video]

Accidents on Indian roads are quite common. Hundreds of accidents are reported from different parts of the country every day. In some cases, people escape with minor injuries, and in other cases, people lose their lives. In most instances, the reason for such accidents is carelessness. Here we have a video of an accident from Odisha where a Maruti Fronx crashed into the rear of a trailer at high speed. All passengers in the car escaped with minor injuries.

The video was shared by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks about the build quality of vehicles and how he feels Maruti is improving in this regard. The video was sent to him by a follower online. The accident was reported on the Bhubaneswar-Chennai NH16.

This was probably a recent accident, happening between 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm. According to the person who shared the video, the Fronx was being driven at high speed. The car was allegedly traveling at 100 km/h or more when it crashed into the trailer.

The email shared by the spectator mentions that the road was wet due to rain, and traffic on one side of the road was affected by waterlogging. It is assumed that the truck and trailer were moving along the non-waterlogged side of the road when the Fronx came from behind and crashed into the trailer.

We are unsure whether the Fronx driver lost control or simply failed to notice the large trailer on the road. Whatever the reason, the crossover did crash into the trailer, and the front of the car was completely damaged. If you watch the video, you’ll notice that the front bumper, bonnet, headlamps, fenders, and wheels are all damaged.

The driver’s side of the car sustained more damage. It appears to be a new car as well, with garlands on the front grille. The video mentions that the car had three occupants, including the driver. The driver and the passenger in the rear seat escaped with minor injuries. The person in the front passenger seat fainted upon impact.

It is unclear whether the passenger who fainted suffered any injuries. The Maruti Fronx managed to perform well, especially for a high-speed crash. The pillars of the crossover remained intact, and the airbag deployed on time, which saved the occupants. It is quite possible that the driver was driving rashly on the wet road and was unsure how his new car would react to hard braking on a slippery surface.

Stay calm and patient, as impatience and carelessness often lead to such crashes and road rage incidents in India. The truck and trailer did not sustain much damage. One of the truck’s tires has a large cut, and the mudguard has come loose, but other than that, there is not much damage.
