Maruti Ignis Driver Dozes Off In Middle Of Bengaluru Traffic Jam: Woken Up By Pedestrian (Video)

In most metro cities traffic jam is a common thing. We keep hearing a variety of reports related to traffic jam from Bengaluru. We have heard about people peeling vegetables and even ordering food to their car while they are stuck in traffic jam for hours. Here we have a new video, were a Maruti Ignis driver is seen sleeping in the car while he is waiting for the traffic to clear on the road.

The video has been shared by Cars India on Reddit. The video has been shared by one of the users online. In this video, we see the person recording the video walk towards a Maruti Ignis that was parked in the middle of the road. The person recording the video walks towards the car only to find that the driver and the co-driver sleeping inside the car.

We are not sure what exactly happend in this case. But, we assume that the car was stuck in a traffic jam for quite some time and the driver who was probably bored inside the car decided to take a nap. He might have been extremely tired that made him sleep almost immediately in the car. He probably fell into deep sleep that he didn’t even realise that the traffic cleared and was creating issues for other road users.

We notice that the driver only woke up after the camera person knocked on the window glass of the car. The driver was in shock and took him few seconds to realise what happened.

The co-driver also woke up by then and the driver moved the car forward. We can seen him smiling before he moved the car forward. The driver was probably embarrased and wanted to escape from the spot as soon as possible.

This may seem like a harmless act but, it is actually something more than that. If you are feeling tired while driving for some reason, it is always a good idea to stop the car on the side and take a break.

If you driving a car for hours on the road, it is natural to get tired. In such cases, it is advisable to get out of the car, stretch yourself, take a quick walk and then come back. drink tea or coffee or even take a quick nap before continuing your journey.

We have come across several cases in the past were driver fell asleep while driving and crashed into other vehicles or median. This is all because of fatigue and driver’s should take this issue seriously.
