Maruti Suzuki Jimny Transformed To Look Like A Classic Ford Bronco

If you are an automotive enthusiast, you definitely love the classic and iconic American SUV, the Ford Bronco. Now, we all know that despite it being such an awesome SUV, it was never sold by Ford in India. However, if you are someone who wants to get the feel of the Bronco without paying an extremely high import fee, then you have to check this out. Recently, a video has been shared online in which a Maruti Suzuki Jimny has been modified to look like a classic Ford Bronco.
This video, giving a walkaround of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny conversion into a retro Bronco, has been shared on Instagram by Car Crazy Guy on their page. It starts off with the host mentioning that this particular Maruti Suzuki Jimny has been heavily inspired by the classic Ford Bronco. Following this, he starts showing all the things that have been changed in this particular SUV.
At the front, this particular Jimny has been given a brand-new DAMD front grille finished in a classy silver color. It replaces the original five-rectangular-slotted grille. The headlights have been kept the same, but the front bumper has been completely changed. Instead of the chunky matte black bumper, the Jimny gets a much sleeker-looking silver metal bumper.
The company that has modified this Jimny has made sure to retain the original headlight washer that the new Jimny comes equipped with. Apart from this, the placement of the fog lights has also been changed. Additionally, the bonnet of this SUV also takes inspiration from the Bronco and gets a unique design.
Moving on to the rear, the host mentions that the rear bumper has also been changed. It can be noted that it, too, looks the same as the front bumper and is finished in silver color. There are two individual rear taillamps on either side, and the original parking sensors have also been retained.
Following this, the vlogger shows the 16-inch DEAN steel wheels, which have been imported from Japan for this build. Apart from this, mechanically, it has been given Tanabe suspension components, a 40mm Cobra lift spring, and a Fujitsubo axle-back exhaust muffler. Lastly, this particular Jimny has been given a white PPF on the roof and rear portion to give it a dual-tone appearance.
The vlogger does not mention if any changes have been made to the interior or the powertrain of this Jimny. This means that it still comes powered by the same 1.5-litre engine that produces 105 bhp and 134 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Overall, this Jimny looks very cool.
When the Jimny was launched in India back in June of 2023, a lot of people who were excited about this lifestyle off-roader bought it. And a lot of them even started modifying it by converting it into a rugged off-road beast. However, there were a lot of people who even added a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG-style body kit as well.
Today, there are a number of Jimnys across the country that have been modified with G-Wagen kits. However, this particular Jimny with the Ford Bronco-inspired design looks very unique. There are only a few more Jimnys in the country that have taken inspiration from the iconic American SUV.
