'Scared Girl' Asks for Lift: Gang Of Thieves Attack Car After Driver Stops (Video)
Driving on Indian roads is becoming more dangerous each passing day. It seems like almost every day we come across a new type of crime and scam that is taking place on the Indian roads. Recently, a video has been shared online from Noida in which a new method of plundering unsuspecting car drivers has been shown. In this most recent incident, a car driver was stopped by a lonely girl during the night on an empty road, soon after which multiple men gathered around the car to loot the driver and other occupants.
Lonely woman needing lift trap
This video showing this new trap has been shared on Instagram by OhhoNoida on their page. It starts off with two people in what appears to be a Maruti Suzuki Swift spotting a lonely girl on the left side of an empty road. Soon after, the girl asks them to stop, and the driver stops the car in front of her. He then opens the window halfway to listen to what she was saying.
From the clip, we can hear that the girl asks them to give her a ride as she wants to go home. She emphasizes that she is very scared as she is alone and it is very dark. One interesting detail which can be seen during this part is that the girl is wearing a face mask. What happens next is that the front seat passenger asks the girl about her drop-off point.
To this, she mentions that she has to go till Sector 11, Dwarka. The driver and the passenger then start asking this girl the reason why she was standing on this road alone, after which she replies that she had a fight with her boyfriend and he left her on the road alone. She added that her phone does not have a network, so she is unable to contact anyone.
What happens next?
During this second part of the conversation, we can note that the front seat passenger starts rolling up his window. And just when the conversation was about to end, he noted that around three to four masked men started running towards the car. It can be seen that one of them came to the window on the passenger side.
Meanwhile, another man came directly in front of the vehicle. Also, a few other men surrounded the vehicle from the driver’s side as well as the rear. We can hear that both passengers got extremely scared and were panicking. The clip shows that these men were hitting the windows of the car, and the driver was asking them what they wanted.
At the same time, the occupant asks the driver to drive his car ahead or reverse it to get out of the situation. The driver, however, mentions that he will not be able to drive as there are people in the front and rear. To this, the passenger asks him to drive over them; otherwise, they will get robbed. Thankfully, after finding a little bit of space, the driver immediately sped up, and they were able to escape this trap.
Presently, there are no details of the exact location where this particular incident took place. However, from the video, we can learn that this new trap scam is now taking place on roads, and we have to be extremely careful if trying to help people on public roads. If the driver was unable to drive ahead, most likely they would have lost all their belongings, and they could have also been killed by these criminals.
