Tata Motors’ Dealer Delivers 120 Cars On Auspicious Ugadi Day
Tata is one of the leading car manufacturer and it is popular among buyers for its solid build quality. In India, buying a car is considered a big step in an individual’s life. They often consider the car as a new member of the family and welcome it to the family in a grand manner. This why we Indians often look for special occasions or festivals to buy a new vehicles. Recently some parts of India celebrated Ugadi and a Tata dealership In Belgaum decided to make this occasion special by delivering 120 cars in an event.
The video has been shared by belgaum360 on their Instagram page. The dealership organised an event for the customer on the occasion of Ugadi. Ugadi or Yugadi also known as Samvatsarādi (meaning "beginning of the year"), is New Year's Day according to the Hindu calendar and is celebrated by the Telugus and Kannadigas in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
It is an auspicious occasion and it looks like many customers had approached Manickbag Automobiles Pvt Ltd, a Tata Motors dealership in Belgaum. It looks like most customers wanted to take the delivery on the occasion of Ugadi and the dealership decided to do a grand event for the same.
In the video, we see almost 120 Tata cars from various segments lined up outside the dealership. The customers were next to their new cars doing religious rituals and pooja. We have cars like Tata Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, Curvv, Harrier, Safari and Punch lined up outside the car dealership. They have so many cars that some of them are inside the dealership.
Once the documentation work is complete, the dealership staff started handing over the keys to the respective owners and they started driving the cars out.
We see a wide smile on the face of the customers who are taking deliveries. They are even delivering EVs to the customers.
Not the first time
This is not the first time we have come across an event like this in India. Usually we see such mass delivery events happen during festive season or when a new product launches. However, this event stands out because all the models available for sale from Tata are being delivered to the customer here.
While most customers seem happy with their new cars, the comment section of the video tells a different story. It looks like many customers are not happy with the service offered by the customers. Some of them have commented about the poor service of the dealership.
Recently we came across another event where Mahindra which is one of the biggest SUV manufacturer in India deliver multiple BE6 and XEV 9E electric vehicles to customer. They recently delivered as many as 25 vehicles to customer on a single day.
Upcoming Tata
Tata is working on several new and interesting models for our market and many of them are actually EVs. The first product to get launched in the market would be Harrier.ev. It will be one of the most powerful electric SUV in its segment and will also get the dual-motor setup or AWD. The electric SUV is expected to get launched in the coming months.
