Kanwaljeet has been with Mika for long, as his manager. But more than that, he also happens to be his childhood friend. The new Defender can be seen as a token of appreciation from the singer for Kanwaljeet's unwavering loyalty and dedication throughout his career. Kanwaljeet seems to be extremely happy about the unexpected gift.

Another powertrain is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six with 296 hp and 650 Nm on offer, while a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine produces 296 hp and 400 Nm. It is this 2.0L turbo petrol that does duty on Kanwaljeet's Defender.
The SUV gets a full-time four-wheel-drive system (4WD) with a centre-locking differential and an active rear-locking differential. It also comes with Land Rover's signature Terrain Response System. This suite uses a range of electronic aids to assist and improve the SUV's off-roading capabilities.
The Defender is priced between ₹1.04 crore and ₹1.64 crore, ex-showroom. The Defender 110 is priced in the range of 1.04 Cr -1.57 Cr, ex-showroom. The 3-door Defender 90 starts at 1.25 crore for the base Diesel 90 X-Dynamic HSE variant. A fully loaded Defender 90 has an ex-showroom price of 1.64 crore. The Defender 130 costs 1.57 Cr, ex-showroom.
