Recently, a video has become viral online in which a woman was seen driving a red Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder on a highway. What’s even more interesting about this video is that this woman was racing against her son, who was driving a Toyota Fortuner Legender.
Mother driving Porsche beats son’s Fortuner
This video, showing the woman and her son racing their Porsche and Fortuner Legender, has been shared on Instagram by TripleZeroThree on their page. In this short clip, the driver of the Toyota Fortuner Legender shows that there was a red-colored Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder driving right next to him. Soon after this, he mentions that this sportscar is being driven by his mother.
Following this, the driver says that she is racing him, and the clip then shows his mother overtaking him. After this overtake, the video shows a few beauty shots of this mother and son duo racing and driving their Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder and Toyota Fortuner Legender next to each other.
The creator of this video has also shared another video of her mother sitting in the Porsche. In this short clip, his mother was seen recording him driving the Fortuner Legender on the road. This time around, the Porsche was being driven by someone else while his mother was recording the video of the SUV in motion.
Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder
As mentioned, the sportscar seen in the video is the Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder. This particular vehicle is finished in the shade of Guards Red, which is a bright red color. It has also been given a “Jai Shree Ram” decal on the bonnet. This particular model has now been discontinued, but when it was available, it was priced at Rs 2.05 crore.
Powering the 718 Boxster Spyder is a 4-litre flat six-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing a maximum power of 414 bhp and 430 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which is known for its lightning-fast shifts. This convertible sportscar can reach from 0–100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds, which is mind-blowing.

Speaking of the mother and son duo, last year, a mother and son duo from Odisha were seen driving their two Mercedes Benz G-Wagens side by side and going for a photoshoot. This particular duo is the only duo in India to own two G-Wagens.
The lady in the video is Soumya Dash, and her son’s name is Anmol Dash. They hail from Orissa and own a mining business in the state. Most of the cars they own have the same number, “2004,” and are registered under their company name.
