Mahindra BE6 and XEV 9E are currently the popular electric vehicles in Mahindra's lineup. Deliveries for the BE6 have started, and we have also started seeing several videos related to customisations and modifications too. While we all love car modifications, we feel our family will have a different opinion about the same. Their reaction is often not very welcoming, as many of them think of it as a waste of money. Here we have one such video where a mother’s reaction to her son’s BE6 modification has gone viral.

The video has been shared by yellowghost_6666 on his Instagram page. The owner of the car is a social media influencer and owns a car garage in Kerala. He owns several cars like the Toyota Fortuner, Innova Crysta, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and a Mahindra BE6. All the cars in his garage were modified in one way or another.

Some of them get cosmetic upgrades, while the SUV Fortuner gets a lift kit, large wheels, and other modifications. When the son bought the Mahindra BE6, his mother had told him not to modify this car as she really liked the sober or simple look of the vehicle.

The other reason why she asked him not to modify the car was because she wanted at least one car in their garage to be in stock form. The vlogger got the BE6 wrapped in a yellow shade. The exterior of the BE6 is yellow, while the lower half, which is the gloss black cladding and the frunk, retains the stock black shade.

The dual-tone shade on the BE6 is not something that everyone would like. When the video started, the mother was sleeping inside the Toyota Fortuner, and she had not seen the car after modification. In fact, she had no clue that the BE6 even got a makeover like this.

The vlogger closes her eyes and tries to surprise her with the car. When she finally saw the car, she was shocked or surprised. The son sensed danger and started moving away. She ran after him, caught him, and started scolding him for the modification.

It is actually a fun video, and in this video, the mother is seen running after her son with a stick for modifying the BE6 without her knowledge. Towards the end of the video, we see the mother scolding her son and asking him to take all the cars out of the garage and leave the house.

We feel this is a reaction that many people reading the story and who have modified their cars would relate to. Coming to the modification, the car remains stock except for the wrap. It does look good from some angles, but, as mentioned above, not something that everyone would like.

Mahindra BE6 is available with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs. The version seen here is the top-end 79 kWh battery version, which offers a claimed 683 km range. In real-world conditions, the eSUV offers around 450-500 km range. The price for a brand-new BE6 starts at Rs 18.90 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 26.90 lakh, ex-showroom.
