MS Dhoni Takes His Vintage Rolls Royce Silver Wraith II For A Spin [Video]

In the past, we have come across several videos that prove how much MS Dhoni loves cars and bikes. He not only owns them, he uses them and even works on them. Other than owning modern luxury cars, he also has a huge collection of vintage, classic, and retro motorcycles and cars. In fact, he built a separate multi-storey building in his mansion in Ranchi just to park them. One such car in his collection is the Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II, and he was recently spotted driving out from his house in Ranchi in the same car.
The video has been shared by a YouTube channel. The video was recorded by a fan who was waiting for the former Indian cricketer for an autograph or photograph. We have seen Dhoni drive out of or drive into his residence in a variety of cars and bikes in the past.
This time around, he was seen coming out in his blue-coloured Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II. As soon as the car comes out, we see MS Dhoni with a beard on his face. He is not surprised, as it has become a very usual thing for him lately.
We see his fans running around the vehicle trying to grab the attention of the cricketer. In the video, the cricketer doesn’t greet them and simply drives the car away while they follow him. The car seen here in the video is actually a vintage Rolls-Royce model from Dhoni’s collection.
He had bought this car some time back. Not only did he buy this car, but he also worked on it. A video of him working along with a mechanic at a local workshop in Ranchi, owned by his friend, had gone viral years ago. We also have a video on the internet where the mechanic talks about the overall experience of working with the former captain of the Indian cricket team. The car was taken to the workshop for some suspension-related work.
The car looks very similar to the Silver Shadow II. One of the major differences between both was the wheelbase. The Wraith II had a longer wheelbase when compared to the Silver Shadow II. This meant there was more room for the occupants. The Rolls-Royce is powered by a V8 engine, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
This is not the first time we have seen Dhoni drive his Rolls-Royce on the road. He was spotted driving the car in Ranchi earlier as well. Other than the Rolls-Royce seen here in the video, he also owns classic cars like a 1969 Ford Mustang.
It is actually a 1970 model which has been converted into a 1969 model. He also owns a Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am, and he even gifted a vintage Volkswagen Beetle to his wife Sakshi on her birthday a few years ago. Dhoni also owns a bunch of bikes like the Hellcat X132, Yamaha RD350, BSA Gold Star, Kawasaki Ninja H2, and many more.
