Mahendra Singh Dhoni, as we all know, is one of the greatest Indian cricket players of all time. However, what a lot of people don’t know is that MS Dhoni also holds the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Territorial Army’s Parachute Regiment. So, to show his love for the country and the Indian Army, Dhoni has gotten his Hummer H2 SUV wrapped in a unique army-inspired wrap and was recently spotted driving it in Ranchi.

This video showing MS Dhoni driving his newly wrapped Hummer H2 SUV has been shared on X by Rushii on their page. In this short clip, we can first note the rear end of the Hummer H2 of the cricketing star. The tailgate has a camouflage wrap, and the number plate of this beast is positioned on the rear spare wheel.

The clip then shows the side profile of this SUV. We can note that the base wrap color of this vehicle is green, and there is an army man with a gun, a helicopter, a military cargo plane, and a number of parachutes. It can be seen that Dhoni was alone in this vehicle while driving it.

MS Dhoni’s Hummer H2 was wrapped by Wow Detailing, Ranchi, back in July of this year. This particular SUV’s wrap was selected by the cricketer to honor the Indian Territorial Army’s Parachute Regiment, in which he is the Lieutenant Colonel. What makes this SUV special is that, on the side, it has a custom MSD emblem in the same font as the H2 font of Hummer.

This particular Hummer H2 was bought by MS Dhoni back in 2009, and at the time, it was one of the rarest luxury SUVs on the road. Dhoni once drove this SUV to the stadium when New Zealand’s cricket team was in a bus. It was seen that all of the cricketers sitting inside the bus were highly impressed seeing Dhoni driving the Hummer H2.

The Hummer H2 was offered with two naturally aspirated petrol engine options. The first was the 3.7-litre inline-five petrol, and the other was the more popular 5.3-litre V8. Both came equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The 5.3-litre V8 produced 300 bhp of maximum power and 430 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 3.7-litre engine made 242 bhp and 328 Nm of torque.
