Mukesh Ambani's Security Guards Get 4 New Range Rovers [Video]
Most of us dream of buying a luxury SUV like a Range Rover, and there are a few lucky and hardworking ones who are able to achieve this dream as well. However, there are some people who not only own one but a fleet of Range Rovers and that too use them as security vehicles in their convoys. Now, most likely, you'd have guessed that we are talking about the country's richest man, Mukesh Ambani. Recently, the Ambani family has added four brand-new Range Rovers to their security convoy, and a video showing them has been shared online.
Ambani family's newest Range Rover convoy
This short clip showing the newly added four Range Rover luxury SUVs in the Ambani convoy has been shared on YouTube by CS12 Vlogs on their channel. In this video, captioned, “Mukesh Ambani’s Range Rover security looks straight out of a movie,” we can note that four brand-new, white-colored, top-of-the-line, latest-generation Range Rovers are driving in a convoy. In total, there are four Range Rovers in this video.
Now, there might be some people who will remember that the Ambani family already owned two new-generation Range Rovers in their convoy. However, it has to be mentioned that those two were bought a few years ago. Meanwhile, these four seen in the video have been bought in the months of August and September this year. What makes these Range Rovers special is that all of them have the same registration number of “9606.”
These are not average base-spec Range Rovers
A lot of people might think that for convoy use, the Ambani family might have opted for the base-spec Range Rovers, right? Well, the Ambanis, being the richest family in the country, have opted for the more expensive Range Rover Autobiography LWB variant with the petrol engine option. Each of these is priced at Rs 2.57 crore.
Powering each of these Range Rovers is a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder turbo petrol engine capable of producing 394 bhp and 550 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to an automatic gearbox and also gets a full-time all-wheel-drive system. As for the features, this particular variant of the Range Rover comes equipped with a 13.1-inch touch display featuring the Pivi Pro software. It also gets a 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System with 35 speakers.
These will replace the old Range Rover Vogues
People who might be shocked by seeing these Range Rovers in the Ambani convoy might be unaware that these four new SUVs will be replacing the previous-generation Range Rover Vogues of the family convoy. The family, especially Mukesh Ambani’s convoy, over the last few years, has been using the Range Rover Vogues as security vehicles. Currently, there are around 5–6 of these SUVs in the Ambani fleet.
Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG fleet
Apart from the Range Rovers, the most notable vehicle fleet in the Ambani family convoys is their Mercedes-Benz G63 AMGs. The family owns not one, not two, not three, but a total of seven white G63 AMG SUVs, each of which costs Rs 4.2 crore. These SUVs are mostly seen when Anant and Isha Ambani are out and about in Mumbai.
