Trucks, Tractor, Mahindra Bolero Get Stuck Trying To Pull Out Maruti Jimny: 5 Vehicles Stuck! [Video]

Off-roading is a sport that needs capable machines and proper skill levels. Not having the right set of skills would land you in trouble. A recent incident from Maharashtra is proof of this. It shows a Maruti Suzuki Jimny getting stuck in mud, and the vehicles called for rescue- from trucks to tractor- meeting with the same fate! A video of the incident was shared on Instagram.
The video starts by showing a Maruti Jimny 4x4 stuck in what looks like a dam. A truck soon came to the rescue. But unfortunately, it's rear wheels got stuck in the mud as well.
To pull it out, another truck was summoned. However, its front wheels got stuck. A Bolero Camper also came to rescue the Jimny. It tried to tow the Maruti SUV out. But its rear wheels sank in mud as well.
Finally, a tractor was brought to rescue the vehicles. Surprisingly, even the tractor got stuck! Its left tyre dug deep into the mud. A man can be seen trying to stand on the right side of the tractor to add weight and get it out of the slush. At the end of the video, we are left with five vehicles stuck in mud, with no successful rescue.
Interestingly, a Maruti Alto can also be seen a little away from the stuck vehicles. It isn't stuck. This probably explains why people fondly call it 'Lord Alto'! Just kidding...
Lack of skills seem to have been the issue here. Ignorance of the Jimny driver regarding the terrain and its challenges could have landed him in trouble. Having 4x4 hardware and a low-range gearbox alone will not make you capable of tackling challenging terrains.
Having a proper knowledge of the terrain and ensuring optimal tyre pressure are also of key significance. The tyres need to be deflated before getting into slush.
A lower tyre pressure will maximize the contact patch of the rubber, and the same will ensure optimum traction. This will allow the vehicle to climb back from slush.
Maruti Suzuki India launched the 5-door Jimny in 2023. At the time of launch, the off-roader had an ex-showroom starting price of 12.74 lakh. The range-topping variant had an ex-showroom price of 15.05 lakh. In 2025, however, the starting price is 12.75 lakh while the top-spec costs 14.9 lakh (both ex-showroom). Two trims are available: Zeta and Alpha.
The 5-door Jimny is manufactured at Maruti Suzuki's Gurugram plant. It is based on a ladder-frame chassis and powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated, four-cylinder petrol engine (K15B). This powertrain is capable of producing 105 hp and 134Nm.
Two transmission options are available: 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The vehicle also comes with AllGrip Pro 4WD system, 3-link rigid axle suspension, a manual transfer case and a low-range gearbox. The SUV has a claimed fuel efficiency of the 16.94kpl for the manual and 16.39kpl for the automatic variants. The ground clearance is 210 mm.
