Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala Enjoy A Thrilling Track Day
Actor Naga Chaitanya and wife Sobhita Dhulipala have been making headlines recently. The latest news show the couple enjoying a track day at the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT), now known as Madras International Circuit. The 38-year old actor is quite passionate about sports cars and racing, and even has a handsome collection of expensive fast cars. Looks like Sobhita has now joined the sport too!
Sobhita shared a set of photos from the track day on her Instagram handle, depicting the adrenaline and speed the couple had on the track. The set has pictures of her and Naga Chaitanya driving a bunch of cars on the track.
There is even a picture of Sobhita standing near Naga Chaitanya's Porsche 911 GT3 RS while the actor was seated inside. The couple seemed to love driving and clicking each other on the hot day at MMRT.
We aren't so sure about what cars the duo took to the track, other than the 911 GT3 RS. The shared pictures show a Red Mahindra Thar, which could not be the best fit for a track day.
The car that Sobhita is seen seated in, looks rally-prepped. We, however, don't know the exact details of this. All that's known is that it is something fast enough for the actor's wife to get a proper taste of the track.
Mixed Reactions From Netizens
The Instagram post has gathered mixed reactions from netizens. Many fans were excited to see the star couple's exciting day at MMRT. However, many users showed up with unpleasant comments, showing support for the actor's ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Even though both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have moved on with their lives, some of the Instagram users seem to have not. “Zero chemistry, they look and behave like siblings,” wrote a user. Several users, however, feel the couple to be 'cute' and 'beautiful' together.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita got married in December last year at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, in a function that was attended by close family and friends alone.
On the work front, Naga Chaitanya is now celebrating the success of 'Thandel'. This movie became his first film to cross the Rs 100-crore mark.
Naga Chaitanya's Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The popular Telugu actor bought a brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 RS in May 2024. With an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.5 Crores, the GT3 RS is almost a 'road legal race car'! Due to its flair and focus on performance, the GT3 RS is a popular choice among celebrities.
The 911 GT3 RS is powered by a naturally aspirated four-litre six-cylinder engine that makes 518 bhp and 468 Nm of torque. The transmission on offer is a 7-speed DCT, and the car has a top speed of 296 km/h.
The actor took delivery of the sports car from Porsche Centre Chennai and the dealership shared a set of images showing the delivery ceremony, with the caption:
"Congratulations Mr. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya on your new Porsche GT3 RS. We're thrilled to see you choose Porsche once again. We wish him many memorable experiences on and off the Race Track."
