She is recognized for her roles in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films and has appeared in over 80 movies. She is married to Vignesh, who is a popular film director from the Tamil film industry. On her birthday, Vignesh gifted her both these cars.
Maybach GLS600
The first car was the Maybach GLS600, which was gifted to her in 2023. She had posted an image of the car on her social media profile. It looks like the car was booked in advance, but the delivery only happened after her birthday.
She bought the SUV in a Rubellite Red shade. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 is available in a single variant. It is sold as a CBU and now costs easily over ₹3 crore. It is actually for those who think the regular GLS isn’t premium enough.
The Maybach GLS600 showcases the signature Maybach design, featuring a massive vertical chrome-dipped grille. There are also some other notable changes in the vehicle, such as chrome inserts on the B-pillar and the Maybach logo on the D-pillar.
The GLS600 offers both four- and five-seater options. In the four-seater version, there is a fixed center console that includes a refrigerator to store champagne bottles, along with silver champagne flutes. Other features of the car include Nappa leather upholstery, an electronic panoramic sliding sunroof, ventilated massaging seats, and more.
It comes with a host of features including Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Steering Assist, Adaptive High Beam Assist, Adaptive LED tail lamps, and more.
The Maybach GLS600 is more powerful than the standard version of the car, equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine and a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine generates a maximum power of 557 PS and 730 Nm of torque. The hybrid system provides an additional boost of 22 PS and 250 Nm when needed. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge
The Spectre Black Badge is the next car that Nayanthara received as a birthday gift. In fact, she is the first Indian actress in the country to buy the Spectre Black Badge. The Spectre is Rolls-Royce’s first-ever electric vehicle and was officially launched in the country last year. However, the Spectre Black Badge was launched earlier this year, and we have not seen many reports of people buying the same. The actress bought the Spectre EV in a shade of blue and matte grey. Just like the regular Black Badge Rolls-Royce models, the front grille and many other elements on the car that are usually chrome are now finished in gloss black.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge is actually the most powerful Rolls-Royce to date. It is powered by a 102 kWh battery pack that drives an electric motor generating 659 bhp and 1075 Nm of peak torque. The car offers a driving range of anywhere between 490 to 530 km. The price of a brand-new Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge is ₹9.5 crore, ex-showroom, while the regular Spectre costs ₹7.75 crore, ex-showroom.
