Nayanthara First Indian Actress To Own Rolls Royce Spectre Black Badge Worth 10 Crore
Nayanthara is a popular name in the South Indian film industry. Just like most actors and actresses from the industry, Nayanthara also has a decent number of luxury cars in her garage. The actress has now added a brand-new car to her collection, and it is not your regular Mercedes or BMW. She has been gifted a Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge electric luxury saloon for her 41st birthday by husband and movie director Vignesh Sivan. Nayanthara has become the first actress in the country to own this EV.
The image of Nayanthara and her husband along with their twins standing next to the Rolls-Royce Spectre was posted online recently. It looks like the image was taken at the time of taking delivery. Nayanthara posted the image of her new car with a date in the caption. That date is her birthday, and it looks like the car was actually a birthday present to the actress.
The car seen here is not the regular Rolls-Royce Spectre EV. It is the more expensive Black Badge, and we assume she is probably the first one to buy one in the country.
The Spectre is Rolls-Royce’s first-ever electric vehicle and was officially launched in the country last year. However, the Spectre Black Badge got launched earlier this year, and we have not seen many reports of people buying the same. The actress bought the Spectre EV in a shade of blue and matte grey. Just like the regular Black Badge Rolls-Royce models, the front grille and many other elements on the car that are usually chrome are now finished in gloss black. This gives the car a sporty appeal. It is also an element that differentiates it from the regular models.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre gets a 2-door, 4-seater coupe design with rear-hinged doors. It gets a blacked-out Pantheon grille with classy tangerine illuminated slats and a blacked-out “Spirit of Ecstasy.” The bonnet of this coupe is finished in a deep glossy grey color, which gives the electric blue a beautiful contrast.
From the side profile, we see massive 23-inch wheels that have a different design than those of the regular Spectre. We only see the exterior images of the car. As we know, Rolls-Royce offers a wide variety of expensive customization options to all their models, and Spectre is no different.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge is actually the most powerful Rolls-Royce to date. It is powered by a 102 kWh battery pack that drives an electric motor generating 659 bhp and 1075 Nm of peak torque. The car offers a driving range of anywhere between 490 to 530 km. The price of a brand-new Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge is Rs 9.5 crore, ex-showroom, while the regular Spectre costs Rs 7.75 crore, ex-showroom.
Coming back to Nayanthara, this is not the first time she has received an expensive car as a gift on her birthday. In 2023, Vignesh had gifted her a brand-new Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 luxury SUV finished in Rubellite Red shade.
