The super-expensive Rolls Royce Phantom VIII EWB that she arrived in and her luxury car security convoy have both caught the attention of netizens. Nita Ambani’s Pink Rolls Royce Phantom VIII EWB was seen being accompanied by a convoy consisting of Mahindra Scorpio Classic (cop car), Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster and a couple of Range Rovers.
A video shared by Cars For You shows the convoy arriving at the venue. The narrator also says that Nita Ambani attended the wedding, spent some time there and then left the place in her suave Phantom VIII EWB sedan finished in Pink. The ultra-luxury sedan wears a registration plate that reads MH 01 ER 9999.
The Ambanis are known for their love of Rolls-Royce cars. Mukesh Ambani owns several Rolls Royce models and is particularly fond of the Cullinan SUV. The Pink Phantom VIII EWB that Nita Ambani was spotted in is a relatively recent addition to their garage. She was first seen using the sedan on public roads in April last year.
Though we referred to it as Pink, this colour of the Phantom VIII EWB is called the Rose Quartz. The retracting Spirit of Ecstacy mascot of this car is finished in Gold! Nita Ambani has opted for Orchid Velvet interiors. The cabin has been customised tastefully, and it even gets Nita’s initials- NMA- embroidered inside. We don’t know the further details of this spec or the interior of this car.
The Phantom is the British carmaker’s flagship product and thus comes packed with luxury and features. With a base price of 12 Crore rupees, it is definitely an expensive buy. Reports claim that Nita Ambani’s Phantom VIII EWB costs somewhere around 14 Crores with its current speccing and options. It is definitely one of the most expensive Rolls Royce models in the Jio Garage. We are not sure if this vehicle is armoured for additional safety. Considering the high levels of security offered to the Ambani family, it makes sense to expect it to be armoured. If so, it would only push the price further up.
As for the powertrain, the Phantom VIII EWB draws its juice from a 6.75-liter V12 twin-turbocharged petrol engine. This massive powerhouse is capable of producing 571 hp and 900 Nm. It comes mated to an automatic transmission. The power is sent to the rear wheels alone.
Being an EWB, this sedan is 220 mm longer than the standard model. The wheelbase here is 3,772 mm. This means the cabin gets generous room and amenities inside. Occupant comfort is of paramount importance in the Phantom VIII.
