North India's First MG Cyberster Owner Has Already Done 1,500 Kms: Ownership Review

MG India recently launched its first electric sportscar, the Cyberster EV, in the country. So far, a handful of this sportscar has been delivered across the country, and recently North India's first Cyberster owner shared his detailed review of its ownership after driving it over 1,500 km. In this video, the owner provides all the details of this electric sportscar and mentions the things he likes and dislikes about it.
This detailed ownership review of the MG Cyberster has been shared on YouTube by Paras Gaba on his channel. It starts off with the host mentioning that this particular MG Cyberster is the first one delivered to North India and then introducing the owner of this vehicle. He mentions that his name is Manik Jain and he has a jewelry shop - Jainsons Jewellers in Sonipat, Haryana.
Following the introduction, the host first asks the owner about his decision to buy the MG Cyberster. To this, he replies that there were no specific thoughts while buying this sportscar. The owner stated that he saw it, liked it, and because of that, he bought the vehicle. Soon after this, the host asks about the price of this vehicle.
The owner then mentions that in Sonipat, Haryana, he paid an on-road price of Rs 87 lakh. He added that in Delhi, he would have paid around Rs 7-8 lakh less due to the EV subsidy, and the same is the case in Punjab as well. However, in Sonipat, electric cars do not get any subsidy from the state government. Following this, the vlogger then showed the owner's other cars.
He mentions that the owner of this Cyberster also owns a Land Rover Defender 130 V8 and a Toyota Fortuner, amongst others. The host added that all of these cars have the VIP registration number “0001.” Following this, he asks about the price for each car's number plate, and the owner replies that the Fortuner was Rs 12 lakh and the Defender was Rs 18 lakh. He added that his estimate is that for the Cyberster “0001” would cost Rs 20-22 lakh.
The host then shows the doors of this sportscar, which are electric and can be opened by the remote key or by pressing the buttons. He asks the owner what happens if a vehicle or any other object is next to the door. He then replies that there are sensors on the door that stop them from hitting any object while opening.
After talking about pricing and showing the exterior design of the Cyberster, the host shows the interior of this sportscar. He states that the entire cabin is centred towards the driver of the vehicle. He then asks the owner about his experience of sitting in the cabin and what the maximum height of a person who can sit comfortably in it is.
To this, the owner says that anyone with a height of 6 feet can sit comfortably in the Cyberster with the roof on. Following this, the host talks about the riding comfort and performance of this vehicle. The owner replies that, being an electric sportscar, it is extremely fun to drive and handles very well. Its suspension is on the stiffer side, and the ground clearance is very low, but those are the downsides of owning a sportscar in India.
