Bollywood Actress Nushrat Bharucha Does Donuts In Her Mahindra Thar [Video]

Nushrat Bharucha is one of the Bollywood actresses who has bought a Mahindra Thar. She has been spotted with the SUV on several occasions. She is one of those actresses who likes to drive the cars she owns. A new video has surfaced online where actress Nushrat is seen driving her Mahindra Thar off-road and doing donuts in her 4×4 SUV.

The video has been shared by Nushrat on her Instagram page. In this video, we see Nushrat following instructions given by an experienced driver on how to do a donut. She listens to the instructions carefully and follows them. We see the actress performing donuts effortlessly and without any issues.

The actress seemed very confident while driving the SUV, which is a great thing. She did a couple of rounds on the hill with slippery grass and then moved to the next obstacle. We can hear her speak in the video, mentioning that they were on an off-road track and she had decided to attempt and cross all the obstacles to see if she or her SUV is capable enough to do so.

We see the SUV passing through slush and climbing up a slippery slope without any issue. The actress looks extremely happy and excited after clearing the obstacles.

The comment section under this video has several negative comments blaming the actress for destroying nature. Most people who commented failed to notice that it was a track built for off-roading. In the caption, Nushrat wrote, “Disclaimer!!! These donuts were performed on a private offroad training facility spread over 65 acres with just one of the acres earmarked for offroading. These grounds are maintained for this purpose and a lot of conservation effort goes in. Do not do this on public ground and damage the topsoil.”

She clearly mentions that they had permission to do these stunts on the property and that doing such stunts on public roads and properties is an offense. The Western Ghats have received a good amount of rain this year, and it looks like the actress was driving the SUV somewhere in the Konkan region.

The Mahindra Thar is a capable off-roader. The SUV was once the most affordable 4×4 SUV one could buy in India. It is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version uses a 2.0-liter mStallion turbo petrol engine that generates 150 Ps and 320 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version uses a 2.2-liter mHawk turbocharged engine that generates 130 Bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque.

Both petrol and diesel engine options are available with a manual and 6-speed automatic transmission option. A 2WD or RWD version of the Thar is also available for sale. The petrol engine remains the same as the 4×4 version, but the diesel engine in this variant is a smaller 1.5-liter turbocharged unit. Only the petrol version gets an automatic option.

Besides the Mahindra Thar, Nushrat Bharucha also owns a BMW iX luxury electric SUV. Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is also said to own a Mahindra Thar. Other Bollywood actors like Prakash Raj and Kunal Khemu also own a Mahindra Thar. The price for a brand new Mahindra Thar starts at Rs 11.35 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 17.60 lakh, ex-showroom. Mahindra will also be launching the 5-door version of the Thar in the market soon.
