Old Mahindra Jeep Rescues Stuck Toyota Innova Hycross [Video]

The Toyota Innova Hycross is an amazing vehicle and can be driven on highways for long distances without letting its occupants feel extremely tired. However, what it cannot do is off-roading. The reason is that it has not been designed to tackle rough terrains. Unfortunately, there are people who do not understand this and still take it on routes where it does not belong. Recently, a video has been shared online in which a Toyota Innova Hycross was stuck on a hilly road. Thankfully, an old Mahindra Jeep saved the day.
This video, showing the rescue of a Toyota Innova Hycross after being stuck on a hilly road, has been shared on Instagram by ItsMejibin on their page. It starts off with a scene showing an Innova Hycross stuck on a hilly road. We can note that the vehicle was stuck due to the road being pressed in because of frequent use by heavy vehicles.
What can also be seen is that there were a number of people holding a rope tied to this Innova Hycross. These people were trying to pull out the MPV with their combined strength. As expected, this plan did not work out, and they switched the rescue mission to the use of a Mahindra Bolero pickup. However, this particular vehicle also could not help the stuck Innova Hycross.
Soon after the Bolero pickup failed in rescuing the MPV, an old Mahindra Jeep Major was called in for the task. In the video, it can be seen that the Innova Hycross was first tied to the Jeep, and soon after, the SUV started pulling out the MPV. However, as the Jeep was on a turn, it could not immediately pull out the Innova. But following a few more pulls, it managed to rescue the stuck vehicle.
It can also be noted that the driver of the Jeep, after retrieving the Innova Hycross, did not stop. He dragged the vehicle through the turn to make sure that it did not get stuck again. The video also showed the Jeep struggling at one point. However, the skilled driver of the Jeep managed to overcome this issue and quickly rescued the Toyota Innova Hycross.
As mentioned above, the vehicle pulling out the Toyota Innova Hycross is a Mahindra Major. This two-door SUV was launched back in 2006. It came equipped with a 2.5-litre DI Turbo diesel engine. This motor was capable of producing 63 bhp of power and 180 Nm of torque. It came equipped with a 4-speed manual gearbox, and it was offered with both RWD and 4-wheel drive configurations.
The above video is not the only time an old Mahindra Jeep has rescued a vehicle. A little while ago, a video was shared online that showed a Mahindra Jeep CJ3B rescuing a Mahindra Bolero pickup truck that was stuck in a water stream. What was extremely impressive about this Mahindra Jeep CJ3B was that it was a 55-year-old vehicle.
In this short clip, a Mahindra Bolero pickup truck was stuck in a flash flood inside an estate. Many people tried rescuing it. However, when everything failed, the 55-year-old Mahindra Jeep CJ3B was brought in to take out the pickup truck. It was noted that the Bolero pickup was tied to this Jeep, and then it started pulling it out. Thankfully, the Jeep CJ3B was able to rescue this vehicle very quickly.
