The BE6 is underpinned by the carmaker’s new-age INGLO platform- a skateboard architecture that it developed in-house. The electric motor sits on the rear axle. The BE6 only has a single-motor setup on offer. On the range-topping variant, the motor output stands at 378hp and 380 Nm. The e-SUV also has adjustable regenerative braking, electric power steering with variable ratios, all-wheel disc brakes, and a semi-active suspension.

Two battery packs are also offered- 59 kWh and 79 kWh- both sourced from BYD. The larger unit offers a range of 682 km. The smaller battery has a range of 535 km per charge.

These battery packs also come with high charging speeds. Mahindra says that these can charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes over a 175 kW charger. Over the 11.2kW AC charger, the 79 kWh version takes 8 hours for the same. The slower 7.3kWh AC charger would stretch this to 11.7 hrs.
