‘Pookie Baba’ Anirudhacharya Seen Standing Out Of The Sunroof Of A Moving Mercedes Benz [Video]
The modern Hindu “Babas” are now leaving their “holy” seats and standing out of the sunroofs of luxury cars. Earlier, we saw “Bageshwar Baba” standing out of a Rs 2.5 crore Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, and now we have Anirudhacharya Baba, also known as “Pookie Baba,” doing the same. This time around, the popular Baba was seen standing out of the sunroof of a Mercedes Benz GLC luxury SUV. He was also being followed by many people on motorcycles and a few kids on roller skates as well.
Anirudhacharya stands out of the sunroof
This video showing Pookie Baba standing out of the sunroof of a Mercedes Benz has been shared on Instagram by Ritika Skating on their page. In this short clip, we can see Anirudhacharya Baba waving to the people on the road after coming out of the sunroof of this moving SUV.
What’s even more dangerous than him standing out is that he was being followed by a few kids dressed as yogis riding on roller skates. One of these kids was grabbing the handle of the SUV and skating at the same speed. Meanwhile, another kid on skates joined him in a moment.
In addition to these kids being dangerously close to such a fast-moving SUV, two of Anirudhacharya’s guards were standing on the side step of this SUV. They can even be seen leaving one of their hands free to guide other people to move aside. Thankfully, they did not lose their balance and fall off the SUV.
Pookie being followed by his followers
The video also shows that there were a lot of other people on motorcycles riding extremely close to each other on this narrow road. They were following Pookie Baba’s SUV. This was especially dangerous because if the driver of the SUV had braked once due to any emergency, all of the bikers riding so closely could have caused a massive pile-up, seriously injuring them.
Extremely reckless behavior
In most of these cases, it’s not the fault of the followers. We say this because followers can be blinded by the fame of such Babas and other celebrities. So, at this point, it becomes the responsibility of such public figures to make sure that their followers and the staff working for them are safe.
They should make sure that their followers also obey traffic rules along with them. In this particular case, neither Pookie Baba Anirudhacharya nor his followers were obeying the traffic laws.
Also, it has to be noted that when these instances take place, police authorities often ignore such famous people. Many times, when such celebrities arrive at a place, police authorities do not take action even after seeing clear violations of traffic rules.
Kolkata Police has started issuing fines for standing out of sunroofs
Earlier this year, it was reported that the Kolkata Police has now started issuing challans to people who stand out of the sunroof. This fine is Rs 1,000 for violators of the law under Section 184 (F) of the Motor Vehicles Act. The traffic police of Kolkata said that the campaign has been started to make people aware of the harmful outcomes of such daring stunts.
