Punjab Woman Cop Who Became Famous For Mahindra Thar Reels Arrested For Drug Trafficking

When we think of police officers, we think of protectors who are always ready to protect us from criminals. However, there are a lot of corrupt police officers who themselves become criminals in order to earn more money. Recently, one such female police constable, who used to regularly flaunt her Mahindra Thar and her luxury watches, clothes, and handbags, was arrested. She was also found possessing 17.7 grams of heroin, which costs Rs 2 crore.
A female police constable named Amandeep Kaur was recently arrested by the authorities over the possession of illegal drugs. Recently, this police constable, who was stationed in Mansa and was later attached to Bathinda Police Lines, was under surveillance by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF). It was reported that they had been monitoring this female constable for a while.
She came under the radar of the authorities because she used to regularly post videos on social media, breaching the uniform guidelines of the police force. In addition to this, she also used to flaunt her expensive gold Rolex watch, expensive sunglasses, branded clothes, and her iPhone 16 Pro Max. In addition to this, she was also suspected of being involved in illegal activities.
Following this surveillance, it was reported that recently, the female constable was driving her black Mahindra Thar near Badal Flyover, Bathinda, Punjab, when she was intercepted by the authorities. After that, she was stopped at a police checkpoint near Laadli Dhee Chowk. During this stop, her vehicle was checked by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force, and she was found possessing 17.7 grams of heroin worth Rs 2 crore.
Along with the female constable, there was a man named Jaswant Singh as well. It was mentioned that following the check of her vehicle, the female constable immediately ran away on foot to escape arrest. However, she was quickly caught by the authorities and was arrested, following which she was taken to court the next day.
During her litigation, she was charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Currently, the female constable is under police remand and is being questioned about the source of the heroin, the destination of the drug’s delivery, and her links with the drug cartel that supplies and sells such illegal drugs.
Apart from this, during the investigation, it was also found that a complaint was registered against Amandeep Kaur a while ago by a woman named Gurmeet Kaur. It was alleged by the other woman that Amandeep Kaur had an extramarital affair with her husband and used to live with him.
She also added that the female constable owned a mansion worth Rs 2 crore, multiple luxury watches, bags, jewelry, clothes, and plots of land. The woman also highlighted that she used to transport heroin in an ambulance.
As mentioned above, Amandeep Kaur was very fond of sharing reels on Instagram. She used to regularly post short videos of herself flaunting her Mahindra Thar. She also used to share videos of herself wearing her gold Rolex watch, her Shih Tzu dog in branded clothes, and singing songs mocking the police while wearing a police uniform. Many of her reels featured songs from the popular late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
