Two Mahindra Thar SUVs Chased And Busted By Police Boleros: Live Video
Mahindra Thar owners in India are not particularly known for being gentlemen. This is because, over the years, we have seen numerous cases where Thar owners have been seen creating ruckus on public roads. Most recently, another case from Jaipur, Rajasthan, has gone viral on the internet. In a video clip, two Mahindra Thars were chased by Rajasthan police after a complaint was registered against the people sitting in these SUVs. It was reported that these men were trying to run over a few cricket players on an empty ground.
2 Mahindra Thars Chased by Rajasthan Police
The video showing this movie-like chase of police authorities and goons in Mahindra Thars has been shared on Instagram by Reporter Sahab on their page. In this clip, we can note that there were two Mahindra Thar SUVs being driven aggressively on an empty ground. They then came onto the road, where there were a number of people around.
Soon after this, a police-patrolling Mahindra Bolero with lights and siren on was seen chasing one of the Thars. The video then shows one of the Thars being driven in reverse gear, and in front of it was another police-patrolling Bolero. This particular Thar driver was not stopping the vehicle and was continuously trying to evade the police authorities.
However, the driver of the police Bolero was also not letting him slip away. At one point, he even had to crash the front end of the patrolling vehicle into the Thar to make sure the Thar could not go anywhere. Finally, after a long period of this back-and-forth, a few police officers went to open the door of the Thar and bring out the reckless driver and his co-passengers.
Why Were These Mahindra Thars Being Chased?
Now coming to the main reason why these Mahindra Thars were being chased by the police authorities. It has been reported that there were a few people playing cricket on an open ground in Mansarovar, Jaipur. They then complained to the police that eight people in two black Mahindra Thar SUVs were trying to run over them.
When the police authorities arrived, the Mahindra Thar drivers and their passengers attempted to escape the situation. However, Rajasthan police acted quickly and started a chase-like pursuit, eventually managing to stop these individuals from fleeing.
In the video, we can note that these people were brought out of the SUV and shifted to police-patrolling vehicles. As per reports, eight people have been arrested for this offense. Additionally, it has been stated that both Mahindra Thar SUVs have been seized by Rajasthan police.
Nashik Police Chase
This is not the first police chase video we have seen. Just a few days ago, a very exhilarating police chase from Nashik, Maharashtra, was shared online. In this video, not one, not two, but a total of eight police vehicles were seen chasing a red Maruti Suzuki SX4 sedan. This particular car was intercepted when it avoided a police checkpoint.
Due to this, the police authorities suspected that the car could have been carrying some illegal substance. Following this, a full-fledged chase started, continuing across the city at night. Thankfully, the SX4 driver was successfully caught by the authorities and then arrested.
Upon further investigation, it was found that there were three massive blocks of narcotics in the vehicle, which were seized. Finally, after the chase ended, the police authorities involved in this high-speed chase across Nashik city were felicitated by the Nashik City Police Commissioner.
