Chiranjeevi Family Buys Rolls Royce Spectre: Actor Ram Charan Seen Driving It [Video]
The Telugu superstar Ram Charan and his family recently welcomed the all-new Rolls Royce Spectre EV in their garage. So far, not many glimpses of this new electric coupe from the family were shared online. However, recently, the actor, along with his wife and other family members, was seen arriving at the Hyderabad airport in his Rs 7.5 crore Rolls Royce Spectre. This is the Allu-Konidela family’s second Rolls Royce.
This video of Ram Charan driving his newly bought Rolls Royce Spectre has been shared on Instagram by Car Crazy India on their page. In this short clip, the Rolls Royce Spectre can be seen arriving at the main entrance of the Hyderabad airport. It can be noted that Ram Charan was behind the steering wheel of his Spectre.
He was accompanied by his wife Upasana Kamineni. The video shows their staff opening the door for Upasana, who was holding their baby. After this, Ram Charan was seen exiting the Rolls Royce Spectre. Both of them, along with their family members, then entered the airport.
Ram Charan’s Rolls Royce Spectre
From the video, it can be noted that the actor has bought himself a brand new Rolls Royce Spectre EV finished in a classy shade of black. For the interior, Ram Charan has chosen the premium dual-tone interior with tangerine and black leather. It complements the gloss black exterior color along with all the chrome.
The exact list of options chosen by Ram Charan is currently unknown. However, most likely, this was a custom-specced Rolls Royce Spectre. And the Telugu actor must have opted for a number of expensive options from the bespoke Rolls Royce catalog.
Ram Charan gifted his father Chiranjeevi a Rolls Royce
As mentioned, the Spectre is not the only Rolls Royce owned by Ram Charan’s family. A while ago, Ram Charan gifted his father and veteran Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi a Rolls Royce Phantom. It was the first generation of the Phantom finished in a stunning shade of black like his Spectre. Chiranjeevi has been spotted with this sedan on multiple occasions and still owns it.
2024 Rolls Royce Spectre
For those who may not be aware, the Rolls Royce Spectre is the British luxury carmaker’s first-ever electric vehicle. It has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 7.5 crore. The Spectre can be considered a spiritual successor to the Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe and Wraith. It comes equipped with suicide doors like all the other Rolls Royce models.
At the front, it gets a sleek chrome front grille which now comes with illumination. It also gets the most aerodynamic Spirit of Ecstasy as well. Apart from this, the EV coupe comes equipped with massive 23-inch alloy wheels. The Spectre EV is the first-ever Rolls Royce to feature 23-inch wheels. The rear design is rounded off by a sloping roofline and it also gets minimalist LED taillights.
Moving on to the inside, the Rolls Royce Spectre EV boasts a beautiful and premium interior just like any other Rolls Royce car. The overall dashboard layout is similar to the Wraith that it has replaced. It comes with a massive touchscreen in the center and high-quality, exquisite leather and wooden inlays with metal accessories.
The Spectre is also the first-ever Rolls-Royce model to offer its signature starlight LEDs on the door panels as well. Just on the doors alone, there are 4,796 subtly lighted stars that are LEDs. The dashboard for the Spectre is also illuminated and offers the owners the choice of any design for their dashboard which is called the gallery.
Coming to the powertrain of the Rolls Royce Spectre, this EV coupe comes equipped with a massive 102 kWh battery pack. Rolls Royce claims that it offers a range of 530 km. As for the electric motors, the Spectre comes with electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles.
The total output of these motors is a maximum power of 575 bhp and 900 Nm. It also gets active suspension and four-wheel steering. Despite the added weight from the electric motors, batteries, and premium materials, the Spectre EV can still do a sprint of 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds.
