3-Month Old Rs 4.3 Crore Range Rover Driven Into Dam [Video]
Imagine you bought a Rs 4.3 crore Range Rover three months ago and you are enjoying the serene views of a dam during the rainy season. But due to some reason, you end up crashing into the dam, and your brand-new luxury SUV gets submerged in water. You'd be heartbroken, right? Well, this is exactly what recently happened in Nashik, Maharashtra. A video of the retrieval of this submerged Range Rover has been shared online.
In this viral clip, which has been shared on Instagram reels by Just Nashik Things on their page, we can note that there are hundreds of people on the road who were waiting for this SUV to come out of the water body. A crane was called for the retrieval of this particular Range Rover, which was completely submerged in the dam.
The video shows that the arm of the crane was lifting the SUV with the help of thick straps attached to the front of the axle. Following this, the SUV was brought out and kept on the side of the road. It can be noted that the registration number of this SUV reads “MH 15 KG 2345.”
Where did this accident take place?
As per the reports, this particular incident took place near Kashyapi Dam in Nashik, Maharashtra. It has also been mentioned that there were casualties after the vehicle fell into the water body. Presently, it is unknown how many occupants were inside this SUV at the time of the accident.

This particular Range Rover belongs to Yashraj Patil from Nashik, Maharashtra. He is the nephew of Chhatrapati Udayanraje Maharaj Bhosale, Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is also the 13th holder of the titular title of Chhatrapati, which was adopted by the Maratha king Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Bhosale upon his coronation in 1674.
Yashraj Patil took delivery of this Lantau Bronze-colored Range Rover Autobiography Long Wheelbase just three months ago. Images of him taking delivery of this SUV were shared online. The SUV also boasted the VIP registration number “2345,” which is common across the vehicles of the family.
The Range Rover Autobiography LWB is priced at Rs 4.3 crore (on-road in Nashik, Maharashtra). It comes equipped with a 3.0-litre petrol plug-in hybrid system. This powertrain is capable of producing 454 bhp and 660 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
