Renault India's current portfolio consists of just three models- the Kwid, Triber and Kiger. The Kiger is the flagship and constitutes a large share of the carmaker's monthly sales. How often do you get to see a tastefully modified Kiger? Well here's one...
India's Coolest Renault Kiger: Details
This Kiger has a base paint of White. On top of it, the SUV has attractive graphics and decals. There is even the race number 63 on the front door. A sporty body kit has been installed on the SUV. It thus gets sportier front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper.
You can also see integrated diffuser and quad exhaust tips (fake of course) on the rear bumper. The interesting part about his is that the Kiger has a 3-cylinder petrol engine! Mocking the same, an Instagram user commented '999 cc, 3-cylinder for 4 exhausts'. It is still true that the quad exhaust setup adds to the vehicle's visual appeal.

The stock wheels have been replaced with aftermarket alloy wheels that look much better in comparison. The (stock) Kiger's LED DRL has White light. On this SUV, however, these have been replaced with Purple ones.
The rear gets a sporty spoiler that's finished in Red. Though we don't have clarity on it yet, we expect this vehicle to be fitted with an aftermarket exhaust as well.
Social Media Reacts
Pictures and videos of this modified Renault Kiger were shared on Instagram, igniting a series of responses and reactions from users. "Bro inspired from hotwheels" commented a user. Another thinks that this is 'The best way to make this underpowered car appealing'.
Another comment says '0 to hero'. It looks like the body graphics and sticker job have both managed to impress the crowd. Another user said "Usually don't like this sort of thing, but gotta say, this actually looks sick!"

Another interesting comment says ' Kiger gets Fronxed'. This, we would say, is spot on! With the body kit and other embellishments, this Renault Kiger tends to resemble the Maruti Fronx from some angles, especially from the rear. Remember the modified Fronx we talked about recently?
Renault Kiger: A Closer Look At It
At the time of writing this article, the Kiger starts at 6.09 lakh, ex-showroom. The range-topping variant costs 11.22 lakh, ex-showroom. It is built on the same platform as the Nissan Magnite, and even has the same engine and transmission options.
You can either have it with a 1.0L, 3 cylinder, naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine or with a turbocharged 1.0L petrol unit. A manual transmission is common between the two. The NA engine offers the choice of an AMT while a CVT can be had on the turbo-petrol.
The turbocharged petrol engine has an output of 100 PS and 160 Nm while for the NA engine, it is just 72 hp and 96 Nm.

The feature list on the Kiger consists of a large touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7.0-inch TFT digital instrumentation display, keyless entry, push-button start, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, wireless smartphone charging and more.
The 2024 update brought some changes to the SUV. It got a new colourway for the semi-leatherette seats and the leather wrapped steering wheel. Other new bits included red brake callipers, a bezel-less auto-dimming IRVM, and a welcome and goodbye function for the auto-folding ORVMs.
