Renault Triber

The starting price of a brand new Renault Triber is Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most affordable three-row MPVs available in the Indian market. This affordable MPV was launched back in 2019 and since then, it has received several minor updates. The Triber comes with decent interior space and flexible third-row seats. Customers can either fold or completely remove the seats to increase the boot space in the car.

It comes with a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charger, electrically folding ORVMs, driver seat armrest, and more. The Triber is available with a single engine option. It is offered with a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine that generates 72 Bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. The engine is available with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox option.

Renault Kiger

It is the entry-level SUV from Renault in the Indian market. This sub-4 meter SUV rivals other sub-4 meter SUVs like the Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue. The Kiger comes with a muscular-looking front-end design, which gives it ample road presence. It offers a decent number of features like leatherette upholstery, a bezel-less auto-dimming IRVM, auto-fold ORVMs, wireless phone charger, leather-wrapped steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system, red brake calipers on the turbo variant, and more.

The Renault Kiger SUV is available with two engine options: a 1.0-liter NA petrol engine and a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine is the same as the Triber’s. The three-cylinder unit generates 72 Bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. The 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, turbocharged version generates 99 Bhp and 152 Nm of peak torque.

The NA petrol version is available with manual and AMT gearbox options. The turbo variant gets manual and CVT gearbox options. The price for a brand new Renault Kiger starts at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 11.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the Kiger and the Triber offered to the Eastern Command are top-end trims.

Renault currently has Kwid, Triber, and Kiger in their lineup. In 2025, the brand plans to expand its portfolio with the launch of the Renault Duster, followed by a 7-seater version of the next-generation Duster in the market.
