Wrong-Side Hyundai Creta Blocks Mahindra Scorpio: Road Rage Erupts [Video]
Indian roads are full of surprises. Wrong-side driving or riding is one of the most common offenses we see on the road, and sadly, it is seen as a normal thing on our roads. Wrong-side driving along with reckless behavior is what causes many accidents. Here we have one such video where a Hyundai Creta driver on the wrong side of the road is blocked by a Mahindra Scorpio driver. The Creta driver engaged in an argument with the Scorpio driver over this incident.
The video has been shared by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. The video was shared with him by a follower on social media. The incident was reported from Maharashtra’s Pune. The owner of the Mahindra Scorpio was passing through a narrow highway with heavy traffic movement.
The dashcam was installed on the Scorpio and we can clearly see that there are several blind curves on this road. As the Scorpio owner approached a blind curve, a Hyundai Creta trying to overtake trucks on the curve suddenly came in front of the Scorpio.
The Mahindra Scorpio driver was on his side of the road, and it was the Creta driver who came to the wrong side and created the issue. The Scorpio driver simply stopped the car and refused to move away despite having space on the left side. The Hyundai Creta driver was not happy with this behavior and, for some reason, thought the Scorpio driver was arrogant. He came out and started arguing with the Scorpio driver. The driver of the dashcam car calmly sat inside his vehicle and argued with the Creta driver.
The Scorpio driver asked the Creta driver who was at fault. To this, the Creta driver replied that he was overtaking the trucks and the Scorpio driver could have moved a bit to the left and given him space. The Creta driver was clearly at fault here as he was overtaking trucks on a blind curve, yet he believed he was entitled to do the same.
During the argument, the Creta driver even threatened the Scorpio driver that he wouldn’t allow him to go ahead. The Scorpio driver told him that he had recorded everything in his dashcam and told him to do whatever he could.
Finally, when the Creta driver realized that he was blocking traffic and drawing unnecessary attention, he went back to his car and, without caring about the other vehicles, joined back on the road. The Mahindra Scorpio driver continued his trip after this.
If things had gotten worse, we would have suggested that the Mahindra Scorpio driver report the issue to the nearby police station to be on the safer side.
Anyway, the Creta driver looked like a local who either had connections with politicians or authorities in the region and was probably trying to show off the same to get away from the situation. Whatever the situation may be, never get involved in such incidents and always report them to the local police station, as these arguments can easily escalate into physical assaults.
