People in India have a very fragile ego, and due to this, almost every day people get into fights on the public roads. Most recently, another video in which, just because of a security guard not recognising a resident of a society in Noida, he, along with others, was beaten with sticks. They also retaliated with sticks, but the damage was done, and one of the security guards started bleeding.

Residents of society beat security guards for stopping car

The video showing the altercation between a few residents and the security guards of a housing society has been shared on X by Greater Noida West on their page. This short clip starts off with a man with long hair arguing with the head of security of the Amrapali Leisure Valley, a posh housing society in Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh. He was accompanied by two other men who were also standing close to him.

From what we can hear, the man was arguing about his MG Hector, without the society sticker, getting asked questions at the main entrance. The man was seen shouting that he is a resident of the society, so even if his car does not have a sticker on the front, why is he being questioned? To this, the security guards answered that they cannot remember each and every person, hence they stopped his car.

However, during this conversation, things started to heat up, and the man with the long hair pushed off one of the security guards. As a result of this, the security guard also started pushing him, and during this, the two other accompanying men started attacking the security head and other guards with a self-defence baton. In retaliation, the security guards also started beating these men with sticks.

In addition to this, another video has been shared on X in which the continuation of this fight is shown. We can note that the three men were continuously swinging their batons and were trying to hit the security guards. After some time of fighting in front of the car, the resident moved outside the gate of the society.

Now, in order to continue the fight, a few security guards went outside with sticks as well. We can observe that one of the guards was also bleeding, and the blood can be seen on his head and his shirt. The video shows that a female security guard was intervening to stop the fight. However, these men continued fighting.

What happened next?

As per the reports, the guard-in-charge of the society, Tejpal, has filed an FIR against these residents for beating up the security team. This complaint has been filed at the Bisrakh police station, and two people have been arrested so far. Apart from this, the police authorities are currently reviewing the footage and continuing the investigation to solve this matter.

Indians have big ego

As controversial as it may sound, Indians have a lot of ego, and because of this, they cannot tolerate the rules. In this case, most likely the society, like many others, has a rule to stop vehicles which do not have a society sticker to avoid unauthorised people from outside entering the society. And in this case, the security guards were just doing their duty.

Unfortunately, this particular resident of the society, and many others like him over the years, fail to understand that this security check is for their own society's safety. However, rather than complying with the guards, these people stop, thinking, “How can they not be recognised?” and this causes altercations like we just saw.
