Goons In Toyota Fortuner Block And Harass Family In Jeep Wrangler: Beat Up Locals Who Intervened [Video]
The number of road rage incidents in India is seeing a massive spike. A lot of times, these incidents take place because some people think that they own the road and that they can be intoxicated and drive like no other driver is using the same road. Recently, once again, a group of goons driving in a Toyota Fortuner Legender has caused a huge road rage scene. These rowdy individuals were seen blocking the way of a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon driver. They stopped his vehicle in the middle of a busy road and then proceeded to damage his car with the driver, his wife, and his kid inside.

This video showing the horrendous road rage taking place on a busy road has been shared on Instagram by The Urban Farmer on their page. What happens in the first part of this video is that a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was being driven on a busy main road in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Suddenly, a white Toyota Fortuner Legender with the registration number “HR 42 J 8000” comes from the left side and tries blocking the way.
We can observe that this Fortuner driver had his hand out of the window and was asking the Jeep driver to stop his vehicle in the middle of the road. However, when the Jeep driver did not stop the vehicle, the Fortuner driver did not leave any space while overtaking, and this caused the Jeep to crash with the Fortuner. We can note that there was no visible damage.
Soon after this, when the Jeep Wrangler driver stopped, the driver from the Fortuner, along with his friends, came out of the vehicle and started abusing and harassing the Jeep driver. They came next to the driver-side door and started damaging the vehicle. They can be heard abusing the driver and asking him to come out. The Jeep driver, on the other hand, was asking them to stop bullying him.
Unfortunately, despite noting that there was the wife and a young kid of the driver inside the car, these miscreants did not stop the harassment. They were continuously hitting the vehicle and were asking the driver to come out of the vehicle. We can also note that the driver of the Jeep asked his wife to call the police authorities and ask them to come to the location. Meanwhile, the driver, without opening the window, was asking the Fortuner occupants to reach the police station.
Part II - Harassment continues
The same person has shared part two of this incident. In this video, it was noted that while the Jeep driver and his family were inside the vehicle, a few local people came to the rescue and stopped the road rage. However, these goons started beating up the local people. We can note that the driver was involved in a physical altercation, which was followed by one of his friends also beating up an old man in front of the Jeep.
The video then showed the driver of the Jeep took his wife and kid to the home and dropped them off, following which he was seen driving back to the location of the incident while being on a phone call with the police authorities. He was explaining the entire situation to them, and they were noting down the details.
More details of this incident
According to the post, this incident took place on May 30th on the Main Rajpur Road, Dehradun, opposite the Central Secretariat before Bahal Chowk. As for the individual who was driving the Jeep Wrangler—his name is Capt. Himanshu Kumar Chaudhary. Currently, the details of the people in the Toyota Fortuner have not been reported. However, its registration number is “HR 42 J 8000.”
During the incident, these goons managed to break the front windshield, side door window, side-view mirror, and the antenna of the Jeep Wrangler. It was mentioned that the police authorities had intercepted the Fortuner at a stop. However, when Chaudhary reached the location after dropping off his wife and kid, these miscreants were not found. Presently, no updates have been provided on whether the goons have been arrested or not.
