This video showing Rohit Sharma scolding his brother for a scratch on his Volkswagen Virtus has been shared on YouTube. It comes courtesy of Raj on their channel. In this short clip, we can note that a dark grey-colored Volkswagen Virtus GT sedan was being reversed. During this, the popular cricketer was seen checking out a scratch on the rear right quarter panel of this sedan.
Soon after spotting this scratch, he was seen pulling his brother Vishal Sharma close to him and pointing towards the scratch. He then asked if this was done by him, to which Vishal Sharma admits that it was caused by him. Soon after, Rohit Sharma can be seen being slightly angry and frustrated. Now, who exactly owns this Virtus sedan is currently unknown.
As mentioned above, this incident took place after Rohit Sharma unveiled a stand at Wankhede Stadium, which has been named after him. For those who may not be aware, on May 7, Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket. It was reported that Rohit Sharma wanted to announce his retirement mid-series against England like MS Dhoni. However, this plan was rejected by the BCCI as they did not want inconsistency in captaincy.
Apart from the news of his retirement, recently the popular Indian batsman also came to news headlines for giving away his Lamborghini Urus luxury SUV worth Rs 4 crore to a fan. What actually happened was that Rohit Sharma became a brand ambassador for Dream11, the fantasy Indian cricket application.
It was then announced that the winner of Dream11 will be given Rohit Sharma's personally used Lamborghini Urus with his signature “264”-bearing number plate. This particular SUV was bought by Rohit Sharma back in 2023. He chose the lovely shade of “Blu Eleos” for his Urus. He also opted for the Rosso Alala (Cherry Red) and Nero (Black) leather interior.
The Lamborghini Urus comes powered by a massive 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This motor is capable of producing 650 PS and 850 Nm of torque. It also comes mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Apart from the Urus, which he used to own, the cricketer also owns a Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography LWB as well. He bought this SUV last year, finished in the classy shade of Santorini Black, and it also has his signature number plate “264”. This SUV comes equipped with a 3.0-litre inline-six diesel engine, which makes a total power output of 346 bhp and a hefty 700 Nm of torque.
It comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and gets a four-wheel-drive system. Rohit Sharma also owns a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV, and a few other cars. Previously, he also used to own a BMW M5, a Skoda Octavia, along with a Toyota Fortuner as well.
