The cricketer, prior to this, was spotted with his Urus on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, where he was fined twice for overspeeding.

In this short clip, the ace cricketer can be seen driving his Lamborghini Urus. He was accompanied by another person, and this video was shot at the private jet terminal of Mumbai Airport.

One interesting thing about Rohit Sharma’s Lamborghini Urus is that it also has his signature number “264.” This is the same number he has on his newly bought Santorini Black Range Rover Autobiography.

Now, for those who may not know the significance of this number, Rohit Sharma currently holds the record for the highest individual score in a One Day International cricket match. He scored exactly 264 runs off 173 deliveries against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on November 13, 2014.

Rohit Sharma Was Fined Twice for Speeding in His Urus

Now, coming back to Rohit Sharma driving his Urus. Prior to this, Rohit was also seen driving his Urus from Mumbai to Pune back in 2023. He was heading to Pune for the Indian cricket team’s match with Bangladesh. During this drive, it was reported that he was fined twice for overspeeding.

The cricketer was clocked doing 117 and 111 kmph on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The speed limit on this road was 105 kmph. It was reported that he was fined Rs 4,000 in total for both offenses. Also, the pictures of him speeding were captured by automated cameras installed on both lanes of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

At the time, to sensationalize these reports, a few media outlets stated that Rohit Sharma was driving his Urus at speeds over 200 kmph. However, the highway police authorities later confirmed that this was not true. Also, these fines were quickly paid by the cricketer, as per the authorities.
