Indian international cricketer Rohit Sharma has great taste in cars. Over the years, we have seen him, who also happens to be the Indian team's captain in test and ODI formats, own several drool-worthy cars. One of the most notable members of his garage has recently been the Blue Lamborghini Urus, which he is often spotted with. Looks like this super SUV has now found a new owner in the most jaw-dropping way possible- someone won it playing Dream 11!

If you don't know it yet, Dream 11 is a fantasy sports platform. It allows you to create virtual teams with real-life players. The user earns points based on their performance in actual matches. They compete with other users for prizes based on these scores.
Dream 11 announced a breathtaking contest for the ongoing IPL 2025 season. Rohit Sharma announced through an advertisement that he would give away his famous Lamborghini Urus as a prize for the Dream 11 winner. The ad film showed him in a dramatic setting. The captain was 'seen in tears' in the hilarious video. The ad had two parts to it. The winners of the contest, it said, would stand a chance to win the Urus.
In the second video, the captain seemed cheerful. Just then, a fan got into the Blue Urus and drove off, telling Rohit to reach home safely. Unfazed, he casually hopped into an autorickshaw and told the driver, “Chalo, meter se chalo,” asking him to go by the meter fare. This video confirmed that the winner would get the cricketer's SUV and not a new one.

In a recent Instagram post shared by Full Throttle Mumbai, we see Chetan Borkar, a Dream 11 contestant, receive the Urus SUV, and click pictures with it. He seems to be excited about the development. More About Rohit Sharma's Lamborghini Urus
Today, the ex-showroom price of the Urus starts at Rs 4.18 Crores and goes up to 4.57 Crores. The cricketer had bought this SUV in March 2022. Back then it used to have an ex-showroom price of 3.15 crore.
The Urus is Lamborghini's first SUV ( not taking into account the LM002) and is revered for its jaw-dropping performance. It is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that generates 657hp and 850 Nm. It comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint happens in 3.3 seconds. The top speed is over 300 kph.
The vehicle comes with a full air suspension and offers a great balance between handling and comfort. The Urus also features driving modes like Sabbia (Sand), Neve (Snow), Strada (Street), Sport, Corsa (Track) and Terra (Mud). The key rivals of the Urus in the Indian market are the Audi RSQ8, Aston Martin DBX 707, Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, Ferrari Purosangue, and Maserati Levante.
Interestingly, the cricketer's Urus has a number plate that reads 'MH 01 EB 264'. The star cricketer chose this number as it is his highest ODI score.

On the career front, Rohit Sharma is now participating in his 18th campaign of IPL. He has however, failed to find form in this season.
