Rohit Sharma Spotted Driving Brand New Lamborghini Urus SE For The First Time! (Video)

Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma recently purchased his second Lamborghini SUV- an Urus SE. The new hybrid SUV has an on-road price of Rs 5.39 crores in Mumbai, and is finished in a shade of Orange- likely the Arancio Argos. He even chose a personalised number plate which reads '3015' - a nod to both his children's birthdays and his iconic jersey number 45. Now, Rohit Sharma has been spotted in public with the new Urus SE.
This video has been shared on the YouTube channel CS12 Vlogs. It shows several clips of Sharma driving his brand-new Urus SE. In the first clip, we see the car coming out of the parking of what looks like a hotel, and speeding onto an empty road. The hybrid engine's road can be heard and we can see the SUV's insane acceleration as well.
In subsequent clips, we see the Urus SE amidst slow-moving traffic on Mumbai roads. It has its right indicator turned on. As the SUV passes the camera, we get to see Rohit Sharma inside. The Urus soon takes a right turn and enters a smaller road. It then drives away safely.
We saw Sharma's new Urus SE for the first time in another video shared on this channel. It showed the cricketer's SUV being dispatched to his home in Worli, from Lamborghini Mumbai. The video showed the Orange-coloured Urus SE coming out of the dealership and being driven towards Sharma's home by the dealer staff.
This is in fact, the second Lamborghini Urus that Sharma has owned. He used to have a pre-facelift Urus, finished in Blue, which was given off in gift to the winner of Dream11 fantasy cricket contest, making huge headlines. The previous Urus wasn't as expensive as the SE and was not a hybrid either.
Sharma has opted for the Black and Arancio leather interior for his new SUV. The cabin also has several brushed Silver trims. The 23-inch alloy wheels also wear Black.
Lamborghini launched the Urus SE in India in 2024, with a base ex-showroom price of Rs 4.57 Crores. It succeeded the Urus that was already on sale here, and brought along a significant twist- a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It mated a 25.9kWh battery-based hybrid setup to the 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8. The setup has a combined output of 800hp and 950Nm. The engine has has significant reworks gone into it.
The Urus became the second plug-in hybrid offering from the Italian supercar maker after the Revuelto. Just like in the Revuelto, the electric motor sits inside the 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox on the SE as well.
The Urus has always been known for its performance. The SE is no different and claims a 0-100 kph time of juts 3.4 seconds. 200 km/h comes in just 11.2 seconds. The top speed stands at 312kph. The carmaker even claims an all-electric range of 60 km on the SUV, regardless of whether you would actually use it or not.
The Urus SE also gets four additional drive modes- EV Drive, Hybrid, Recharge and Performance. Recharge mode stands particularly significant as it allows the battery to get recharged without performance compromises.
The hybrid SUV also has air suspension, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, revised electronics and 48V anti-roll bars. It excels with its handling and road manners- stands tall and drives like a supercar- classic Urus formula indeed!
The SE comes with notable design changes as well. The bonnet and nose designs have been revised. The headlamps are slimmer and get LED matrix tech. The bumper and grille assembly are new as well. At the rear, there is a new spoiler and revised LED tail lamps as well. The registration plate now sits on the bumper and the diffuser is larger.
