Indian Cricket Captain Rohit Sharma Stops Lamborghini Urus To Wish Fan: Video Viral

Just a few days ago, the Indian national cricket team captain, Rohit Sharma, was seen leaving the private jet terminal in Mumbai in his Lamborghini Urus. Now, once again, the popular cricketer was spotted behind the steering wheel of his Rs 4.2 crore Lamborghini SUV. This time around, the popular batsman stopped on a busy road and wished his fan a happy birthday. The video of this interaction has gone viral on the internet.
This video of Rohit Sharma stopping his Lamborghini Urus on the road to wish a fan has been shared on X. It comes courtesy of Rushiii. In this short clip, Rohit was seen sitting in the driver’s seat of his Lamborghini SUV. We can note that his fans, who were recording the video, were thanking him for stopping for them.
Following this, one of the fans mentioned that the girl who was standing next to his door is celebrating her birthday today. After hearing this, Rohit Sharma extended his hand outside of his SUV’s window and wished his fan a happy birthday. As people behind him started honking, he then drove away.
As stated above, this is not the first time the ace batsman has been seen driving his Urus. In fact, he loves driving this Lamborghini super SUV so much that he was even caught speeding in it. Earlier last year, he was driving from Mumbai to Pune for India’s match against Bangladesh.
During this journey, he was caught not once but twice by automated speed cameras installed on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. He broke the speed limit of 105 kmph on two occasions. Once he was caught at the speed of 117 kmph, and the other time he was driving at 111 kmph.
It was later reported that he quickly paid off both of these fines. Also, there were some publications that said he was driving at speeds upwards of 200 kmph; however, they were later proven to be fabricated for clicks.
The cricketer, as mentioned, owns not one but three SUVs in his garage. Two of these SUVs, namely the Lamborghini Urus and his most recent addition, the Range Rover Autobiography LWB, both have the same registration number. Both of these luxury SUVs have been adorned with the registration number “264.”
Now, you may be wondering why this number is so near and dear to his heart. Well, the reason is that this is the same number of runs he scored during his iconic batting stint in the match against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. This match took place on November 13, 2014, and he achieved this feat in 173 deliveries.
As mentioned, Rohit Sharma loves powerful SUVs. The Lamborghini Urus, which he owns, is one of the most powerful SUVs in the world. It comes equipped with a massive 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It generates 650 PS and 850 Nm of torque. It is also mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Rohit Sharma has specced his Lamborghini Urus according to his taste. This particular SUV is finished in the lovely shade of Blu Eleos, which is a very bright pearlescent blue shade. He has also opted for painted claddings and mouldings, which add to the unique appearance of his SUV. On the inside, his Urus gets a dual-tone black and red leather interior with gloss black accents.
The cricketer recently also bought himself a Range Rover. This particular SUV is finished in the classy shade of Santorini Black. It is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six diesel engine, making a total power output of 346 bhp and a hefty 700 Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and gets a four-wheel-drive system.
Rohit Sharma also owns a Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d luxury SUV. This particular SUV has the registration number “4545.” It is finished in the shade of Selenite Grey and comes equipped with a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder diesel engine. It makes 330 bhp and 700 Nm of torque.
