After seeing Rohit Sharma giving away his Lamborghini Urus to the winner of the Dream11 fantasy cricket contest, many people were surprised as to why he would do that. Well, the answer to this is that the captain of the Indian cricket team had already planned to upgrade his Urus. Recently, Rohit Sharma took delivery of his brand-new Rs 5.39 crore Lamborghini Urus SE hybrid SUV. A video showing it being delivered to his home has now been shared online.
Rohit Sharma buys his second Lamborghini Urus
The video showing the Lamborghini Mumbai dealership taking Rohit Sharma's Urus to his home for delivery has been shared on YouTube by CS12 Vlogs on their channel. It starts off with the bright orange-colored Lamborghini Urus SE coming out of the Lamborghini dealership in Mumbai. We can note that there were nearly two identical Urus SEs at the main gate of the dealership.
Following this, the dealership staff, along with a bouquet and gift, sat inside this particular Urus and then drove towards Rohit Sharma's home. The vehicle then entered the Indian cricket team captain's home, which is located in Ahuja Towers, Worli, Mumbai. At the moment, there are no pictures of Rohit Sharma taking delivery of this vehicle, but the registration plate has confirmed that it is his car.
Rohit Sharma Lamborghini Urus SE
This time around, the Indian cricket captain and Mumbai Indians IPL team’s former captain has bought the more expensive and recently launched Urus SE variant. It is the plug-in hybrid version of this performance SUV, and it is priced at Rs 4.57 crore (ex-showroom). As for the on-road price in Mumbai, where Rohit Sharma lives, it is Rs 5.39 crore.
From the video, we can note that Rohit Sharma has chosen the striking shade of Arancio Argos for his hybrid electric SUV. Also, the 23-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels are painted in gloss black, whereas in his previous Urus they were finished in silver. On the inside, the cricketer has opted for the black and matching Arancio leather interior with brushed silver elements all around.
For those who may not be aware, the Lamborghini Urus SE is the latest generation of the Urus. Unlike the previous model, it now comes equipped with sleeker LED headlights, new LED DRLs, and a revised front fascia. The rear design remains the same but now gets a new rear bumper. The major highlight of the Urus SE is its hybrid powertrain, which comprises a massive 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and an 800 CV hybrid system.
The internal combustion engine of this SUV alone makes 632 PS of power and 800 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the electric motor delivers an additional 192 PS of power and 483 Nm of torque. The combined output delivered by this system peaks at 800 PS of power and 950 Nm of torque, which makes this SUV super quick. The Urus SE can touch the 100 km/h mark in just 3.4 seconds and the 200 km/h mark in just 11.2 seconds.

Apart from Rohit Sharma, a few weeks ago, Ram Kapoor, the popular television actor, also bought himself a Lamborghini Urus SE. His SUV is finished in the classy shade of Verde Gea. On the inside, he has opted for a combination of black upholstery with bright Arancio (orange) accents. Meanwhile, the alloy wheels are finished in deep bronze.
