Last year, we saw a Rs 5 crore Rolls Royce Ghost getting stuck on a flooded road in Delhi. Now, this year, we have images of another Rolls Royce Ghost stuck on a waterlogged road in Kolkata. The images show this ultra-luxury sedan stopped in the middle of a road filled with drain water.
Rolls Royce stuck on a waterlogged road
The images showing the Rolls Royce Ghost stranded on a waterlogged road have been shared on Instagram by Supercars of Kolkata on their page. We can note that a blue-colored Rolls Royce Ghost Series II with a silver bonnet was parked in the middle of a road filled with water up to the floor pan of this sedan. As per reports, this took place in Ballygunge, South Kolkata.
Who exactly owns this vehicle is currently unknown. However, there was no one around the vehicle while it was stuck. Whether it has been taken away from this exact spot has not been reported. Most likely, the vehicle was being driven on the road, but due to the excess water, the engine might have shut off.
Never drive on waterlogged roads
If you spot a waterlogged road ahead of you while driving, we request you to stop and avoid going through it. It does not matter if your vehicle has high ground clearance, as judging the depth of the waterlogged road is extremely difficult, and if your vehicle drowns, then it can damage the engine and electronics of your vehicle.

Apart from this Rolls Royce Ghost, there was another luxury vehicle, a Volvo XC60, which was stranded in a similar manner just behind the luxury sedan.

It is capable of producing 570 bhp and 780 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to an automatic transmission, and the power is sent to the rear wheels.
