India's First Rolls Royce Spectre Black Badge Is Here: Most Powerful Rolls Royce EVER!
The epitome of luxury on four wheels is represented by the British luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Last year, the company launched its first-ever electric model, which is the Spectre Coupe. Now, to make this already special vehicle even more desirable, the company has launched the Spectre Black Badge with a price tag of Rs 9.5 crore. Recently, a few images of the first-ever Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge in India were shared online. What's more astonishing about the Spectre Black Badge is that it also happens to be the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever, with mammoth 659 Bhp-1075 Nm outputs.
These images showing the beautifully specced-out Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge have been shared on Instagram by Car Crazy India on their page. We can note that the first image shows this particular Spectre Black Badge finished in the classy shade of electric metallic blue. The exact name of the color is currently unknown. Apart from it, the iconic “suicide” doors of this coupe were open as well.
In terms of the unique highlights of this particular Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge, unlike the standard model, it gets a blacked-out Pantheon grille with classy tangerine illuminated slats and a blacked-out “Spirit of Ecstasy.” The bonnet as well of this coupe is finished in a deep glossy grey color, which gives the electric blue a beautiful contrast.
As for the side profile, we can note that this particular vehicle has been optioned with 23-inch, five-spoke forged alloy wheels, which are exclusive to the Spectre Black Badge. These wheels are finished in black color, and a fun fact is that the Spectre also has the largest wheels of all the Rolls-Royce models currently on sale.
Interior design
This particular Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge has been optioned with the stunning dual-tone Navy Blue and tangerine leather upholstery. The top, lower, and rear portion of these seats is finished in tangerine; meanwhile, the centre portion with the perforation for ventilated seat function is finished in deep navy blue. Tangerine leather and accents can be seen on the handrest and dashboard, along with other spots.
It also has been specced with the ‘Starlight’ illuminated fascia and headliner. The dashboard alone of the Spectre Black Badge gets 5,500 individual stars. It also gets unique carbon fiber inlays, a massive touchscreen infotainment system with the latest Rolls-Royce-specific UI, and a digital instrument gauge cluster, along with all the bells and whistles of a modern Rolls-Royce.
Most powerful Rolls-Royce ever
As mentioned, the Spectre Black Badge is the most powerful Rolls-Royce model to date. This EV coupe comes powered by two electric motors, one mounted on each of the front and rear axles. Combined, this setup generates 659 bhp and 1,075 Nm of torque. The standard Spectre, on the other hand, makes 575 bhp and 900 Nm.
This powerful EV drivetrain helps the Spectre in going from 0–100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds. As for the battery pack, the Spectre Black Badge comes equipped with the same 102 kWh unit, which offers a range of around 493 km to 530 km. The Rolls Royce Spectre Black Badge has been launched with a price tag of Rs 9.5 crore. The standard Spectre is priced at Rs 7.75 crore.
