Sadhu Takes Delivery Of Range Rover Velar Luxury SUV: Test Drives Defender Soon After [Video]

India is often referred to as the land of sages due to its rich history of spiritual and philosophical thought, and the prominent role of sages, rishis, and yogis in its culture. Even today, there are people who follow these spiritual leaders. If you are a regular on social media, you would know that many of these sadhus are popular online and are often seen travelling in expensive cars. Here we have one such video of a sadhu who bought a Land Rover Range Rover Velar and is seen test driving a Land Rover Defender.
The video has been shared by Yogi Samunder Nath on his Instagram channel. On his Instagram profile, he has posted several videos, and most of them are different from what you would expect from the life of a sadhu. He is seen arriving in a Range Rover Velar on several occasions.
He also has a video on his profile where he is seen taking delivery of his new Range Rover Velar SUV. He is seen travelling in the Velar as well. A brand-new Range Rover Velar, like the one seen in the video, would cost you around Rs 90 lakh, ex-showroom.
On his profile, we also see a video where he is seen checking out a brand-new Land Rover Defender as well. The comment section under many of these car videos on his profile is actually a mixed bag. While there are many who are congratulating him on his new purchase and asking for his blessings, there are others who have posted comments like, “Baba in Defender ?❤️?”, “Leave moh maya and bring on Defender ????”, “If Baba had to do this, then he should have earned it himself; why is he fooling people by taking the support of saffron?” and so on.
The Range Rover Velar in which he is often seen travelling is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is a 2.0-litre turbo unit that generates 183 Bhp and 365 Nm of torque. The diesel version also uses a 2.0-litre unit that generates 150 Bhp and 430 Nm of peak torque.
The Land Rover Defender seen here in the video is a 110 variant. It is the current-generation model, which is available with a 3.0-litre diesel, 2.0-litre petrol, 5.0-litre V8, and a 4.4-litre V8 engine option. The reason why the Land Rover Defender has become a popular SUV in India is because of what it offers.
The SUV offers road presence that is more than ample. It looks butch and rugged on the outside. The Defender, as we all know, is an iconic name among off-road enthusiasts. It was known for its off-road capabilities, and with the current-generation model, Land Rover has offered a comfortable cabin with premium features for the occupants without compromising on its off-road capabilities.
In the video, the sadhu is seen taking the Defender for a drive. It looks like he was taking the SUV for a test drive and may be thinking of adding another SUV to his collection.
