Bollywood actors often buy new and interesting cars as part of their lifestyle. They frequently update their vehicles and are often spotted driving them on the roads. Some actors are genuinely passionate about cars, while others prioritize road presence and comfort. The video has been shared by Heneel Gala on his Instagram page. In this video, we see an all-black Land Rover Defender moving through the busy roads of Mumbai. The SUV has a registration number MH02 GQ 1970. We checked the registration details online and found that the SUV is indeed registered under the name of actor Saif Ali Khan.

The video was recorded during the day, and it looks like the actor has opted for a darker shade for the interiors too. Although we do not get a clear view inside, it is evident that the SUV was being driven by Saif Ali Khan’s chauffeur, while the actor was seated on the co-driver’s seat.

The SUV slows down at a speed breaker and then continues to move forward. While the SUV appears fully black, it is actually finished in Land Rover’s Carpathian Grey shade.

The SUV seen here is the 2.0-litre petrol 110 (5-door) variant. It is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. Interestingly, this isn’t the first Defender in Saif Ali Khan’s garage. Before this, his wife Kareena Kapoor bought a Defender 110. In fact, she was one of the first actresses in the industry to purchase the SUV.

The current-generation Defender gained popularity among buyers almost instantly. It offers a rugged stance along with an extremely spacious and comfortable cabin. It comes equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster, automatic climate control, head-up display, wireless phone charger, connected car features, a premium Meridian sound system, electrically adjustable front seats, electronic air suspension that can be raised at the touch of a button, a 360-degree camera, heated front seats, blind-spot assist, front and rear parking sensors, six airbags, ABS, traction control, leather upholstery, rubber flooring, and more.

The Land Rover Defender is available with 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre petrol engines, as well as a 3.0-litre diesel engine. Last year, the manufacturer also introduced a 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine option for both the Defender 110 and 90 versions. There is also a 130 variant and the latest Defender Octa in the Indian market. Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan and Bollywood actor Sunny Deol both own the Defender Octa.

All these engine options come paired with an automatic transmission as standard. The vehicle features a permanent 4WD system with a locking centre differential and active rear-locking differentials. Prices for the Land Rover Defender start at ₹98 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to ₹2.60 crore.
