Salman Khan’s Bodyguard Shera Gifts Son Mahindra Thar Roxx

We discussed how he was able to afford the expensive luxury SUV. Months after purchasing the Range Rover, Shera has now bought a brand-new Mahindra Thar Roxx. However, it is not for him but a gift for his son, Abir. Images of Shera and Abir taking delivery of their brand-new Mahindra Thar Roxx have gone viral on the internet.
The images were shared by Abir on his Instagram profile. Abir is said to be an aspiring actor and fitness enthusiast. Although we are unsure about the occasion, the Mahindra Thar Roxx seems like a father’s gift to his son. Abir posted the images of them taking delivery online with the caption, “Thanks dad for everything ❤️?. God bless you ❤️.”
Shera bought the SUV in the Everest White shade, which is extremely popular among Indians. We expect they bought the top-end 4×4 variant of the SUV, which comes loaded with several premium features.
Mahindra launched the new Thar Roxx a couple of months ago, and official bookings started earlier this month. Just last week, Mahindra commenced the official deliveries of the Roxx. Mahindra received an overwhelming response for the Thar Roxx from customers. Within one hour of the bookings opening, Mahindra received over 1.7 lakh bookings for the SUV. As a result, the waiting period for the SUV has increased.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is much more practical than the older 3-door version, which is one reason why many are attracted to it. It is a rugged-looking SUV with a boxy design and premium features. Mahindra offers features like an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, a multifunction steering wheel, a large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, and more.
Another feature Mahindra offers with the Roxx is Level 2 ADAS, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and more. The SUV also comes with a 360-degree camera, which is extremely helpful when driving through tight spaces. Mahindra has also introduced features like Smart Crawl Assist and Intelli-Turn with the Roxx, which are useful during off-road sessions.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available with both petrol and diesel engine options, though only the diesel version comes with the 4×4 option. The SUV is available with a 2.2-liter mHawk turbocharged diesel engine that generates 172 bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque. The petrol version of the Thar Roxx uses a 2.0-liter mStallion series turbocharged engine that generates 174 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque.
Both petrol and diesel engine options are available with manual and automatic transmission options. The price for a Mahindra Thar Roxx starts at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 22.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
