This video of the Ford Mustang GT, left outside a police station collecting dirt and damage, has been shared on Instagram by Why Not on their page. The short video clip starts by showing the rear end of this abandoned Ford Mustang. We can note that this particular sportscar has two pots placed on its boot.

It appears that it is parked inside an abandoned house’s porch. The video then shows the front of this black Ford Mustang, and it can be seen that it is covered in a thick layer of dust. Most likely, it has been sitting for months in the same spot. Currently, it is unknown if the vehicle is working or not. However, generally, when such a vehicle is left in one place, its battery dies and the tires lose air.

Like most automotive enthusiasts, you will also want to know what exactly happened with this black Ford Mustang GT and why it has been left to rot in the open. Well, the answer is that this particular Mustang was seized by the Dillai police authorities in Assam. Reportedly, Rs 2 crore worth of drugs were discovered in this particular sportscar.

We can note that this Mustang has a registration number of PY 01 VB 0007, which means it is from the union territory of Pondicherry. It is possible that the owner of this particular sportscar was using it to transport drugs. Most likely, this vehicle will only reach a proper garage after it has been cleared from the drug case by either the police authorities or the court.

The Ford Mustang GT is one of the most popular sports cars in India. It was sold by the American automaker in the country as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) from 2016 to 2021. Ford sold the sixth-generation Mustang GT in India, which at the time carried a price tag of Rs 80 lakh.

It came powered by a 5.0L V8 petrol engine, also known as the Ford Coyote V8 motor. This engine was capable of producing 395 bhp and 515 Nm of torque. Transmission duties were handled by a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The muscle car also featured four driving modes: Normal, Sport+, Track, and Wet/Snow.

Abandoned Rolls Royce Ghost

The above video of the Ford Mustang GT rotting might already be very painful for you to watch. However, there are a few other similar videos, and one of them shows a Rs 5 crore Rolls Royce Ghost rotting in the open. Along with this Rolls Royce, there were a few other cars rotting, including an Audi TT Coupe, Pajero SFX, Mini Cooper, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and many others.

All of these cars belong to Nanasaheb Shankar Gaikwad, a notorious moneylender from Pune who is currently under arrest by the authorities due to serious criminal charges. As per the reports, Gaikwad, along with his son Ganesh, was booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA).
