Indian Actress And Singer Shehnaaz Gill Buys Mercedes-Benz GLS Worth Rs 1.5 Crore

Celebrities often update their garages with premium and luxury cars. Not just movie actors, but many television actors have also started fulfilling their dreams of owning a luxury car lately. One of the recent people to get added to the list is actor and singer Shehnaaz Gill. The Bigg Boss fame actress and model recently bought a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV. Shehnaaz shared images of her new SUV on Instagram.

The images were shared by Shehnaaz on her Instagram profile. The images have been posted with a caption: “From dreams to driveways ? my hard work now has four wheels. Feeling truly blessed! ❤️?? Waheguru tera shukar aa ?”

In the pictures, she is seen standing next to a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLS. It looks like the actress opted for the Obsidian Black shade for her GLS. The GLS SUV seen here in the images is the 2024 version, which was launched last year. Compared to the previous version, Mercedes has made some cosmetic changes and added more features to it. It is not clear whether the actress bought the petrol or diesel version of the SUV.

Compared to the pre-facelift version, this GLS gets a redesigned grille that comes with four horizontal slats and the Mercedes logo in the center. Many may still find the older design appealing.

With a 5.2-metre length and 1.96-metre width, the GLS is a huge luxury SUV. The SUV is available with a premium-looking interior. The 2024 version now comes with a choice of three interior upholstery options. The customer can choose from black, beige, and brown, all finished in faux leather.

The steering wheel in the GLS facelift is new and comes with haptic feedback buttons. The MBUX system, which is offered in all Mercedes-Benz models, can be seen here as well. The car offers features like a 360-degree camera, adjustable air suspension, ADAS features for a safer drive, and many more.

The GLS offers an extremely spacious cabin with creature comforts such as heated and cooled seats, wireless phone charging, and much more. Mercedes is also offering a Rear Seat Comfort package, where the customer can opt for features such as controls to adjust the front seat to increase space, electric sun blinds, two 11.6-inch entertainment screens, an additional tablet to control features in the car, and more. However, it is not clear whether the actress has opted for any of these features for her new SUV.

Mercedes-Benz offers both petrol and diesel engine options with the new GLS. The petrol version is the GLS 450, which uses a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine that generates 381 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version is the GLS 450d, which also uses a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine. This engine generates 367 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque.

Both the petrol and diesel versions get a mild-hybrid system that offers a 20 PS boost and 200 Nm of additional torque on demand. Both engine options are mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Prices for the Mercedes-Benz GLS start at Rs 1.34 crore (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom).
