There have been instances when celebrity couples have gifted cars to each other. Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is the most recent one to gift a brand new car to his wife Kiara Advani. He bought a brand new Toyota Vellfire MPV for his pregnant wife.
The video has been shared by Cars For You on its YouTube channel. In this video, we see Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani walk out of a building into their Toyota Vellfire. The video mentions that Sidharth Malhotra bought the car for his pregnant wife Kiara Advani so that she can travel comfortably.
The actor bought the luxury MPV in the Precious Metal shade. It is actually a shade of grey that looks extremely premium on the MPV. The Vellfire has been a popular MPV among celebrities in India. The Vellfire seen here in the video is actually the facelifted version, which was launched in the market a few years ago.
The Toyota Vellfire gets sleeker headlamps and a large front grille, which offers an imposing look. The luxury MPV is 4,995 mm long, 1,850 mm wide, and 1,950 mm tall. It offers a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
Coming to the side profile, the Vellfire gets a kink on the lower window line, resembling the design of a thunderbolt. The pillars are all blacked out, and there are chrome garnishes as well.
You would also notice that the Vellfire has a massive glass area. It comes with 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Compared to the previous version, it gets redesigned LED tail lamps with a connecting LED bar.
The Toyota Vellfire bought by Sidharth Malhotra gets beige-coloured interiors. It makes the cabin look extremely airy and premium. It offers premium features like a fully digital instrument cluster, ADAS features, a 360-degree camera, ventilated and heated seats, an electrically adjustable steering wheel, and more.
The car gets electric window curtains for both second and third-row passengers. In the rear seats, there are two captain seats, roof-mounted entertainment, and both seats have electric adjustments and a reclining function. A split glass roof adds to the airiness of the cabin.
The Toyota Vellfire is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a strong hybrid system. It generates around 193 PS and 240 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an e-CVT gearbox.
Toyota offers the Vellfire in two variants: the Hi variant, priced at ₹1.22 crore (ex-showroom), and the VIP with Executive Lounge Package variant, which costs ₹1.32 crore (ex-showroom). We are not sure if the MPV seen here is the Hi variant or the VIP with the Executive Lounge Package. We are assuming that the couple opted for the Executive Lounge variant as it is more premium.
Apart from Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, actors like Rishab Shetty (Kantara fame), Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Aamir Khan, Rakesh Roshan, Malayalam actor Mohanlal, and Fahadh Faasil all own this luxury MPV.
