Idiot Biker Trying To Jump Divider Nearly Gets Hit By Skoda Slavia [Video]

Indian roads are filled with idiots who think they can drive however they like. A lot of car drivers and bike riders take abrupt turns, thinking that other drivers behind them will manage and avoid hitting them. Naturally, a lot of times these idiots end up in a crash, but sometimes they get lucky and end up avoiding dangerous accidents. Recently, a video of one such Skoda Slavia driver saving a motorcycle rider who wanted to jump a divider abruptly has been shared online.
The video showing this accident, which could have been very dangerous, has been shared on YouTube by Prateek Singh on his channel. As per the creator, the dashcam footage of this accident was shared with him by one of his viewers. The viewer mentioned that this particular incident took place after he left Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, while traveling from Varanasi to Hyderabad.
What happens in this short clip is that the Skoda Slavia was being driven at a speed of around 85 kmph on a four-lane national highway. The road was mostly empty when the driver of the Slavia was driving on it. After that, at one point, when the road became slightly narrow, a biker was spotted in the left lane.
During this time, the Skoda Slavia was in the right lane at the same speed of 84–85 kmph. Soon after this, what happened was that the biker, who was riding on the left, decided to take an abrupt right turn. This careless motorcycle rider did not wait to check if there was a vehicle coming from behind and stood at a 90-degree angle in front of the car driver.
We can note that the Skoda Slavia driver tried honking at the rider to alert him. However, the rider kept on riding ahead until he stopped and left very little space for the car driver. Following this, the Skoda driver, despite such a difficult situation, kept his cool and immediately pressed the brakes and turned the vehicle towards the divider. Thankfully, he was able to stop the vehicle and avoid hitting the bike rider.
The Skoda Slavia driver managed to hit the divider on the right in order to save the bike rider. Now, if he had not turned away his vehicle, the bike rider would have been hit at 85 kmph. This might have resulted in the biker getting seriously injured, or he could have died as well. Thankfully, he was saved in this particular instance.
What is even more surprising is that the bike rider was not taking a turn at a designated U-turn spot. Rather, he took this abrupt right turn to jump over a divider, which is already illegal. In this particular case, the entire fault is that of the bike rider.
The entire video of this incident was recorded on the dashcam installed in the Skoda Slavia. Now, if this car driver had not installed the dashcam and a more serious accident had taken place, leaving the rider with injuries, the car driver would have ended up in huge trouble. Thankfully, the dashcam showed who clearly was at fault. Hence, it is recommended for all car owners.
